A Boozy Lazy Saturday Post/Reblog Lottery X2
Welcome to my boozy lazy Saturday post.
2 weeks ago @bulliontools posted about an interesting drink mix, and so I tried to give it a go, picked up some fireball whiskey and tried to get the sparkling cider but it's not sold in the stores I visited so I settled for a twisted alternative.
I got 2 of these alcoholic ciders instead, I mixed them and I was surprised it tasted really good, well one of them at least the honey crisp apple cider was a great mix the 7% strong red apple cider did not taste too good with the fireball or on it's own.
Perhaps I will give the actual drink a shot again when I find some sparkling cider but to be honest the honey crisp twisted variant was very nice and I may get some more of that if I still can't land the sparkling cider.
I am not really big on alcohol not the greatest intoxication and also takes a toll on the body, I drink a bit here and there and prefer alcohol that doesn't taste like alcohol .

Nice! I'm glad to hear you found a substitute that works well. I only went with Martinelli's because a lot of the hard apple ciders were too sour.

I remember (in my younger years) drinking "Black and Tan" which was half Guinness and half Strongbow Cider. It was supposed to be bitter-sweet, but I remember not liking it that much, but my friends all enjoyed it. I can't imagine cinnamon whiskey and cider together, it doesn't sound appealing to me at all.
I am a fan of ciders as a fall/winter drink, especially mulled cider served hot with lots of spices!
Well I'll tell you this much I don't like cinnamon at all but this combination worked pretty well well at least one of the ciders that I mixed the other one was pretty nasty
