What's New With Hive June 23rd and Goals
Each week on a Sunday I like to take a bit of a chill day in writing and pull together everything new that happened on Hive that week. Along with that if there's not a ton of news I'll often dive into my own personal hive goals as a way to keep myself on track to my own goals and also to show others what is possible with commitment of time, investment, writing quality and building connections.
What's New With Hive This Week
First I always take a look at price action
The price action even with a huge boost to trending volume really hasn't moved much at all. Between the possible delisting of hive from some CEX exchanges, the lack of outside DEX the only one I know of is LeoDex.io and the sheer crazy amount of spending coming out of the DHF the price of hive has really been on the struggle bus all year.
The positive of this is it normally means through content creation on the platform you'll actully walk away with more hive as there's typically less being posted, less active users means the reward pool gets divided up across less posts and threads.
Goals
$HIVE
Goal: 250,000 Current: 110,547
Week over week we added another 447 hive powered up. This doesn't count my not powered up hive or liquidity pool hive. That means we pushed another nearly 64 hive per day being powered up which is getting me closer to that 100 hive a day goal. Now I do understand this goal will change as time moves on. When hive prices are down it's far easier to build up hive then when it's at $0.40 +
HBD
Goal: 182.500 Current: 4,388.51
I only added about 4HBD this week. That was mainly due to the conversion of HBD into Hive while the prices are so far down it only seems logical that hives price will be up 20% before the HBD earns the interest.
$LEO
Goal: 150,000 Current: 139,472
Week over week we pushed another 318 leo or about 45 a day. That's lower than I would have liked as it pushes my goal out a bit further past the end of year mark but I feel like we can recover from that here soon and start hammering it.
Splinterlands
Now for me while everyone is hell bent on trash talking Splinterlands for low prices I still believe it's moving in the right direction and it will have good success next year. The thing is at these prices it's extremely low risk in terms of what's possible with even a small jump. For example SPS is trading at just $0.008 under a cent but we have seen with land and other big news updates that it's been easily jumped to $0.03 or $0.05 and while that might sound like a lot it's actully a massive 200%+ gain which is very hard to come by with Bitcoin or Ethereum these days. The goal here is at least 1 million SPS by end of year and we are fast tracking our way there now with these types of prices.
Other Goals
There's a few other areas I'm starting to press harder now as well due to the destruction of the economy of these tokens so far. The prices are so low at the moment it seems crazy to not stock up just incase.
Those mainly stem around projects such as ZING, WOO, PART and SCRAP. It's actully a bit surprising that Part and Scrap are some of Hives largest games at the moment. I feel like they kind of fly under the radar of many hive users.

So so cool how you're tracking your progress on Hive and other tokens closely brother. Your strategy of powering up Hive during price dips makes a lot of sense for long-term growth. I'm going to have to adapt to this thanks so much !WINE
