Each week I like to do a recap of what's new on hive and also if it's a bit of a lite week on hive development and updates I often will go into my own goals. When I do this it's simply for two reasons. The first is to hold myself accountable to pushing towards those goals and beating them and the second is to show others what is possible with constant commitment of time, building connections and interacting on this chain in a quality manner.

What's New With $HIVE

Overall the price of hive continues to find it hard to find solid ground. In a bull market where things should have rallied hive has remained for the very big part flat with really zero movement from a year ago.

Personally I believe this is due to a number of factors but being that I don't have enough hive myself to really make my voice heard compared to the multi millions of hive staked with a few accounts it's kind of not worth the battles anymore.

Outside of that game developments on hive seem to have slowed and really haven't been contributing much to hive anymore. The core games however seem to be.

$HIVE Goals

Goal: 250,000 Current: 107,880

I'm going to do a little comparison moving forward. Powered up hive increased by 390 hive from last week meaning I added on average nearly 56 hive per day not all too bad honestly as not all of my hive gets powered up a good portion goes into liquidity at the moment.

The goal here though is going to be to start hitting at least 100 hive per day but ultimately I want to continue to build that FAR after that but it also depends on the price of hive at any given time.

HBD Goal

Goal: 182,500 Current: 4,063.39

This week we added a total of 102.28 HBD to the pot. That's mainly because of the monthly payout which is around 66 HBD right now. This can stack up but you really need to get to 50k HBD or higher to really start to see the compounding nature of hit.

$LEO

Goal: 150,000 Current: 136,321

Since last week I added another 473 LEO to the bags. However I've also started to contribute to the Leo:Swap:hive pool on Beeswap in order to start building that out so really this total is more at the moment as it's being spread around into other areas.

Splinterlands

The grind on Splinterlands is still a go to for me and the goal is to hit 1 million SPS at least. I'm actully very well towards that goal now being that SPS is only slightly hovering over 1 cent each which is just bonkers. The burning event seemed to go ok I guess with a good amount of DEC burned but even after that DEC prices have simply tanked. To me it's pretty clear that this game is still struggling and then need to highly focus in on returning values to these assets above anything else.

Honestly the sell point for me would be that new players could jump in right now for only a few bucks. I mean let's take a look at the cost of a normal game today. You pay anywhere from $30 to $70 and sometimes upwards of $100 if you're one of those crazy people that like the extras. (Just a side note I miss the days when games actully gave you cool shit in a box for the extra money!)

Now if a new player came in they could simply buy up Chaos packs at roughly $0.70 each maybe even lower. That means even at the lowest amount a brand new player could buy 42 packs times that by 5 cards in each is 210 cards of which some would at least be rare but could be epics and legendary as well. That's actully a massive amount of cards to start playing with. Or they could buy cards off the market. Buying cards off the markets now you can get a fully decked out common card for a few bucks.

Bump that into the $70 range and you could most likely max out at least one splinter set such as fire in Chaos. So the entry point is actully crazy low right now for new players wanting to join in.

Extras

Outside of the above I've been pretty heavily focused on liquidity and providing that. The main idea is to start to really build some massive passive income streams from these systems.

I've also started to do a lot more POS and also some lotto mining of bitcoin. So if it hit it big and land a block you might not hear from me lol jk. Even locking in one block of bitcoin wouldn't make you rich but it would be nice!
