Each week I like to do a recap of things happening on the Hive blockchain and just give an overview of the projects and things I have going on myself as well. Often times I'll also include my goals as more of a self accountability but also because I feel like it could inspire others to stack crypto here on hive by seeing what's possible with constant work, effort and time. Even when half of the big whales have muted you for having an opinion lol.

Hive Price Action

A great place to always start is to review the price action on hive.

Price action this week was ok. We have a big spike but once again within a day that quickly sold off. My question to you is, is there some type of point to this? Some kind of manipulation? Because as far as I can see why would you invest millions and then a day later have about half that what you put in because of a quick sell off? To me this looks horrible from an investor standpoint and I'm not sure why anyone would dump money into hive looking at charts like this.

Did that stupid rally car finally win a race and that was our payout? lol
BTW the above is one of the MANY things that need to be cut out of the DHF funding. I mean honestly we need the D.O.G.E up in here (Department of government efficiency) because the amount of capital that gets wasted here on hive is ridiculous.

As far as new projects there's nothing big to announce really. There's a decent amount of development and rumors but so far nothing released that would cause for a update here. My thoughts are if we don't get something by mid December we will be waiting until Late Jan. for any worthy updates. This time of the year is often the slowest two months in terms of getting anything done which is crazy.

Goals

$HIVE

Goal: 250,000 Current: 121,110

Week over week we pushed 427 hive powered up which is lower than last week. This puts us at 61 hive powered up per day still short of the 100 hive a day goal. However as prices change my goal will change to making that $100 a day worth of hive powered up and no longer 100 hive per day. but that wont change until we hit over $1 on hive so most likely late 2025 maybe.

HBD

HBD is a very non priority for me instead it's mainly used as liquid funds to put into other places with a better than 15% yield of what I feel will out perform it. I mean honestly hive itself would give me 11% yield plus whatever percent value the price goes up which honestly has been far better that 15% plus HBD is having wild swings in price yet again there's really nothing stable about it and acts more as a hyper inflation on the Hive token itself at the moment.

$LEO

Goal: 150,000 Current: 149,683

Week over week we added another 473 Leo which was better than last week. I did end up buying some so I could hit the 150 LEO powered up on Leo power up days as I pretty much power up all of my LEO as soon as I get it. That being said we are now a week or less away from hitting the goal! That means by Nov 24th of 2024 I would have hit my goal of 150,000 LEO!

From there we are going to start exploring more into DeFi and putting that leo to work instead of just curation rewards which honestly feel low but are crazy impossible to track for some reason this stat is never shown anywhere which blows my mind. I'm honestly not even sure if my LEOMM mining tokens are producing anything anymore.

Splinterlands

Well well well, this is where a lot of the action happened this week. Not only are we just about there to 1 million SPS but we also kicked off a ton of DEC to get a few more plots being cleared so they are ready for Q1 of 2025 land update. The goal here is to get all 142 of my plots up and running and to get them running at max capacity which is pretty huge. If every plot cost me the max 50,000 DEC to run that would be 7.1 million DEC I would need. Luckily not all of my plots need 50k to run but they still need a good amount so I put this number at more around the 5 million mark of which I only have roughly 1 million in. So yes you can guess I'll be focusing in on that right after I think 1 million SPS this week. Just a few thousand SPS shy and its one wonderful feeling!
