As always I like to start with price action and let's be honest this last week has been a little crazy for hive and with it have apparently come a lot of emotions of which I just stay out of these days. I've stated my opinion on various things but I see that wont ever change unless I invest 60 million dollars into hive which is just not going to happen lol

Price action has been wild for a good week there hive just kept jumping by $0.10 each time as you'll see at the start of this week when hive hit over $0.40. However since then it's quickly backtracked to just holding above $0.30.

Now personally my feelings are the over spending of HBD from the DHF and inflation on HBD contribute to the overall negative pressure of the hive token. I know plenty of people will argue with me and that's perfectly fine but no one has yet been able to change my mind on this.

• Witnesses have had a bit of a scuffle which is fine I encourage people to always be aware of what's going on. Personally I think as hive grows that the amount of witnesses should grow with it. So instead of the top 20 if hive says reaches $0.50 each then it would instead work with the top 25 or top 30 witnesses.

• On a personal level I hit my 1 million SPS staked goal! I'll cover that later in the article.

• Development and releases will most likely start to slow down now. We are just 10 days out for Christmas. I wouldn't expect too many updates until end of Jan 2025 to be honest as it's going to take some time for people to come back from holidays and then start putting in some working hours.

Goals

$HIVE

Goal: 300,000 Current: 122,652

Week over week I added in another 364 hive powered up or 52 hive per day right on the dot. That's pretty good and is a little over the half way mark for where I want to be. This is also why I bumped up my hive goal to 300,000 was mainly because that would put me close to that 100 hive a day powered up just from curation rewards.

$HBD

HBD continues to grow a little each day and boy do I mean a little. We are talking about roughly 6 HBD a day so right now that's just being dumped into savings.

$LEO

My LEO goal has been hit so right now I've just been letting it build up and sit in my account. Mainly I'm waiting for a spike in price which I'll then add into Defi pools to see if we can build some decent passive income with it. I've had lot of success outside of LEO so far in the DeFi field mainly pancake swap but also Biswap and a few others. My biggest gaining and continues still to be is PEPE:BNB lol

Splinterlands

A huge milestone was hit this week and that was finally hitting 1 million SPS tokens staked. Now there's about 50 other people have have a million plus staked as well so they for sure hold a lot more in their bags but I'm happy with finally having hit this milestone.

For now Everything that auto stakes on Splinterlands I'm just going to let go so that SPS staking will still continue to grow now just not as rapidly as it was before. My primary focus now is with lands. This is mainly because land 1.75 will be coming out most likely Mid to end Feb. and things should start to rapidly change from that point on. I want my lands well prepared and running so I can make those changes on the fly quickly.
