Hive Goals Update and Progress

Most of last week was the planning phase for what lead capture funnels I wanted to build. Besides that we did some blogging but it has suffered a bit in terms of payouts on posts which is ok it comes with the territory are votes come and go. We did get payout on one post which was simply amazing with almost a $100 value. I was pretty happy to see that because the time invested and research into that post was near 3 hours to create, get screenshots and pull data. Big plus there so thank you! I'll see about trying to do more of those long form articles that are data driven more often but they do each up serious time. We'd most likely be looking at about 25-30 hour weeks invested into those types of articles but maybe its worth it?

Hive

This one still continues to climb on me and it's really going to come down to me cashing in some cards on splinterlands or something. I'm in a mindset right now about building passive income with splinterlands cards however the payout on rentals is just well trash at the moment. Cards worth well over $700 are renting out for $0.08 daily which would take YEARS to recover from a every day rental which doesn't always happen either. Something broken there at the moment but perhaps when land rolls around that will change. I plan on selling off the extra odd and end cards from my deck after the airdrop and once land is announced to try and capitalizing on that hype. I also hold 41 plots of land and another 100 as a keep. If prices on land go high enough I might sell off those 41 plots but we are talking about $2,000 per plot before I let them go.

We also had one very good payout day which you will see in the graph below. It legit just crushes every other post I made that week so I'm going to start focusing on those a bit more and seeing if that trend continues. The only issues with those are, they are time sensitive and take hours of research and writing time. It's not something easy to stay on top of along with everything else but going to give it a honest shot.

I've also been powering up a bit of Hive each day to help push me closer towards that goal so it doesn't run away from me all too fast. That being said I've also stacked a little bit of HBD. It's hard to get your hands on HBD at the moment but having a decent chunk of it sure would be nice at that 20% APR. The goal there would be to get to $50,000 by end of year as long as that APR holds. $50,000 would pay out a sweet $10,000 yearly or $27 daily. Really you'd need about $200,000 - $300,000 for a full time living but also understand that APR might not always be around. Passive income however is the name of the game!

LEO

Looking good here but for the most part I'm simply keeping pace. I need to get back income increasing pace and getting that daily number down. Most of that will not come from more posting but instead buying LEO outright. I plan on doing so now and leading up into a week before LPUD the 3rd of the leo power up days on August 15th.

Overall everything is good here. Leo has been having some growing pains as of late which does make things a little more difficult with occasional down times or posts not showing etc. Hopefully that's resolved with a better way to roll out updates without taking down the site or at least faster. Overall though LEO is strong and actully growing during this bear market. The DeFi platforms are also getting updated and it's one of the few projects really constantly moving and advancing during these times. I firmly believe that Polycub could be a big one being that Polygon is gaining lots of attention so it's a serious opportunity to really promote and push PolyCub to the Polygon community.
