First Week Of July Hive What's New

Today is the day of the week we take a look at what's new with hive and also most likely a look at my own goals I have with the hive blockchain that bleeds into the what's new section. This is a way to hold myself accountable but also to show others what's possible with continued investment, time commitment and building quality on the blockchain.

What' New With Hive July 7th

As always we will start with some price action.

The price action on hive has not been good once again for this week. From a high point of $0.22 dipping to just $0.17 and now holding around $0.19 the price of hive has taken a huge beating as of late taking us back to nearly where it was during the hard fork.

There's a number of things that needs to happen for the price of hive to increase and most of those things remain missing. I've attempted to do my part as much as possible but the dev work is going to have to come from elsewhere.

Goals

$HIVE

Goal: 250,000+ Current: 111,503

Week over week we added just 379 hive it was one of the lower weeks for sure which is mainly attributed to a lower rewards pool payout. However it still does mean we added in a little over 54 hive per day being powered up which is a solid milestone in itself.

HBD

Goal: 182,500 Current: 4,492.83

Week over week we only added in 17.09 HBD which is very low. Again this mainly comes down to lower vote value on posts. I'm also not pushing this one as hard because the dollar values being earned right now in crypto are extremely low so it makes more sense to stack up tokens over stablecoins at the moment. For me stablecoin building comes during the bull and we haven't been in a bull now for a while as the crypto markets have been stagnant again or falling for the last few months.

$LEO

Goal:150,000 Current: 140,135

What's cool about this one is we are now less than 10,000 away from goal! Which shouldn't be hard at all to do by end of year. This figure also doesn't include liquidity pools so it's most likely much higher than this as I wanted to help support the eco system a bit while earning some passive rewards.

Splinterlands

The thing with Splinterlands is that the price follows decently close to what hive does. Being that hive is down in the dumps Splinterlands assets and prices have also taken a major hit with SPS now being worth just a tad over a half a cent which isn't looking good at all.

The goal still remains though as Splinterlands and a few of the other newer games in the ecosystem now are going to play a pivotal factor in hive blockchains adoption and use.

Investing time and effort into building quality on the blockchain is the best way to go brother, despite the current price challenges. It was at 17 now at 19

Price is looking tragic I'll admit. Hive simply hasn't had any bull run this cycle so far. Do you think we'll even ever see$3 Hive again?

No problem but we need some kind of hype.

We could for sure but it's going to take development and not just general onboarding of users. The reason why we saw $3 in the last bull run is primarily because of Splinterlands as much as others want to not admit it.
