I’d be giving a review of a movie titled A shop for killers.

A little review of A shop for killers is based on secrecy and shock. This movie is about a young orphan and a girl named Jeong Ji-an (Kim Hye-jun) was accused of assaulting a young man who followed her to the women’s bathroom. She seem to know one of the cops so well and while the man was giving her some words of advice, she got a call that her uncle Jeong Ji-man (Lee Dong-wook), whom she lived with for about a decade has just committed suicide.

Jeong Ji-an was pretty sure that her uncle couldn’t take his own life and then she noticed a tattoo on his arm written Murthehelp.
As she goes to his house to make preparations for her uncle’s funeral and also take care of the properties her uncle left, but she fell into the world of assassins.

She met Jeong-min, an old classmate who helps her uncle, Ji-man in building a website he will use for his hose-selling business. The funeral went well even though Ji-an saw so many strange faces and and she could tell that there was something wrong somewhere. She asked Jeong-min to keep her company and the young man offered to clean the room. While cleaning, he saw a phone in a cabinet, picked it up and saw a message that a sum of eighteen billion won was sent to Ji-man’s account.

Ji-an then remembered the tattoo on her uncle’s hand and they searched for what was written on it, Murthehelp and found out that he sells guns. Ji-an was shocked thinking that her uncle was into a legitimate business.
Ji-an responded to the chat and says the store is closed. The sender knew Ji-man was late so they needed to find Ji-an and she will be the next to die.

OPINION

This is a film that will keep you in suspense. It will keep audience guessing about what will happen next. I feel this movie actually helps us reflect on real situations of life. You can actually be living under the roof of someone without knowing what exactly the person does.
People can be very secretive and that’s just life for us. If you ask me, I will recommend this movie to anyone because it shows that we can never fully trust anyone no matter how close we are.
This drama needs us to have a season two of it and if I’m to rate it, I will give it 9/10.
