DIY// how to make a ribbon rosette at home.
Hello creative friends
Greetings to you all in this community on this beautiful Monday, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, it's a beginning of a new week and I wish you all a productive week. Today, I will be sharing with you the making of this simple project of ribbon rosette I made, it's very easy simple and creative to make.
This rosette is mainly used in occasion or event like churches, schools, sport event, festival and much more. It is also used to used to recognize the accomplishment of individuals or group of people. During special events in church, the youth usually tag this with a pin to put our for some token just to support the event. Today I decided to try it out for myself and I found out how simple and easy it was to make.
Let me take you through the making of this beautiful ribbon rosette.
Things needed
1" ribbon
Scissors
Hand needle and thread
A button
Gum
From the 1" ribbon, I cut out 5 pieces of 2"
I went ahead to cut out 2 pieces of 4" as well from the ribbon.
The 2 pieces of 4" was folded in two as i made a cut at the middle to give it this look.
I took 1 piece from the 5 pieces, folded it in 2 and I used my hand needle and thread to run a long stitch on it as seen below.
I took another piece, folded it in two and placed the other long piece of 4" under it and it was sewn together with the hand needle and thread.
The other pieces followed by repeating same process to the last piece, it was tied and knotted at the middle.
Finally, I placed a button at the middle with my glue gun and this is the final and beautiful outcome of my ribbon rosette.
I hope you like the beautiful outcome of it, this can be use to celebrate the season as tag on peoples dresses with a pin and I'm sure it will look really nice.
