Happy Sunday to you all on this beautiful Sunday, I hope you are having great time out there with family and friends, it's been a great weekend and I'm sure you are all preparing for the new ahead.

Today I will be sharing with you this simple and easy pouch I made for grandma for safe keeping of her phone.

A small phone was given to grandma for easy communication and the problem is how well does grandma keep this phone, most times it either she put it on her lap when sitting outside and she will not be conscious of it when she decided to stand up and eventually the phone will fall down to the ground and it's either the battery removes or it develop an issue, just because the phone is small and 'alone' on her lap, so I thought if she could have it in a small pouch, it will help to keep the phone safe and she can as well be conscious of it when she wants to stand up, that was why I decided to make this simple pouch for her and I'm sure it will be very useful.

It's a very simple project that can be done in less than 30min.

Let me take you through the cutting and sewing process

I measured and cut out 8 x 11" since it's a small phone I'm making it for though it's can contain other simple items too.

On the lining, I cut out 2 pieces of 8 x 6" it was taken to the sewing machine and I sew the two together leaving an opening.

I took my zipper and sew it on both sides and top stitch on it

It was turned to the wrong side with lining to lining and fabric to fabric with the zipper opened to the middle.

On the base of the lining and fabric, I measured 1" upward and folded it in, then held it together.

Both sides were sewn downward and I trimmed off the excess zipper.

It was turned to the wrong side and I sew the opening on the lining

Finally, it was turned to the right side and that was it.
