Turquoise Lake Trip with My Friend; My Underwater Memories / Arkadaşımla Turkuaz Gölü Gezisi; Suyun Altında Kalan Anılarım 🌿

How are you? I hope all is well.
I've been hanging out with my friend who's been visiting for a few days. We've been having a good time. Actually, I wouldn't really characterize him as a guest. Because we live in the same village. He hasn't been connected to the village for a long time, so I wanted to use this term. Yesterday we went to the turquoise lake to take my friend for a walk.

Birkaç gündür misafir olan arkadaşımla takılıyorum. Güzel vakitler geçiriyoruz. Aslında misafir olarak nitelemem çok da doğru değil. Çünkü kendisi ile aynı köyde yaşıyoruz. Uzun zamandır köyle bağlantısı olmadığı için bu tabiri kullanmak istedim. Dün arkadaşımı gezdirmek için turkuaz gölünün olduğu yere gittik.

My friends and I have shared this place with you several times before. But in this post I will try to touch on different places.
When we reached the part where the lake was, my friend could not hide his surprise. He was right, because until a few years ago many of the places I shared with you were under water.
We consumed the instant tea and snacks we had brought with us while enjoying the view. What impressed me the most were the small waterfalls coming from the depths of the mountains and pouring into the lake. I can say that nature offered us a wonderful visual feast.

Burayı ben ve arkadaşlarım daha önce birkaç kez sizlerle paylaştı. Ancak bu postta farklı yerlere de değinmeye çalışacağım.
Gölün olduğu kısma ulaşınca arkadaşım şaşkınlığını gizleyemedi. Haklıydı, çünkü birkaç sene öncesine kadar resmini paylaştığım birçok yer sular altındaydı.
Yanımızda getirdiğimiz hazır çayı ve abur- cuburları manzara eşliğinde tükettik. Beni en çok etkileyen nokta ise dağların derinliklerinden gelip göle dökülen küçük şelalelerdi. Doğa bize harika bir görsel şölen sundu diyebilirim.

In this section, I tried to photograph a large spring and the enormous structure that was built to generate electricity. I will try to cover this in some detail.
The big waterfall in the first image was of great importance for the villagers.
The owners of vineyards and gardens in the immediate vicinity used to get their saplings from this stream. Besides, there were two millers in this region. One of them was my grandfather.
They used this large spring water to meet the electricity needs of the mill.
The water was poured into the interior of the mill through the gutters I shared in the second picture, and electricity was generated through the device.

Bu kısımda ise büyük bir kaynak suyu ve elektrik üretimi için inşa edilen muazzam yapıyı fotoğraflamaya çalıştım. Burayı biraz ayrıntılı olarak ele almaya çalışacağım.
İlk görselde ki büyük şelale köylü için büyük önem arz ediyordu.
Yakın civarlarda ki bağ- bahçe sahipleri fidanlarını bu akarsudan temin ediyorlardı. Bunun yanında bu bölgede iki tane değirmenci bulunuyordu. Bunlardan biriside dedem idi.
Değirmenin elektrik ihtiyacını karşılamak için bu büyük kaynak suyundan faydalanıyorlardı.
Su, ikinci resimde paylaştığım olukların içerisinden değirmenin iç kısmına dökülüyor, düzenek sayesinde elektrik üretiliyordu.

Let's visit the inside of the mill, which has been under water for many years. After I stepped through the door, I encountered a pile of mud, but I entered the mill and started to visit the inside. These places I shared the pictures of are not my grandfather's mill. I had been here many times when I was little. The uncle with gray hair from flour dust didn't greet me this time and didn't give me any candy.
People from the surrounding villages used to come here with donkeys and mules to grind flour. All these memories are under the water.
Despite all this, the mill is almost unharmed under the water.

Gelin hep birlikte uzun yıllardır su altında olan değirmenin içerisini ziyaret edelim. Kapıdan içeri adım attıktan sonra çamur yığını ile karşılaştım, buna rağmen değirmenin içerisine girip içeriyi gezmeye başladım. Resmini paylaştığım bu yerler dedemin değirmeni değil. Küçükken buraya birçok kez girmiştim. Saçları un tozundan beyazlamış amca bu sefer beni karşılamadı, şeker vermedi.
Civar köylerden eşeklerle, katırlarla insanlar un üğütmeye gelirdi. Bütün bu anılar suların altında kaldı.
Bütün bunlara rağmen değirmen suyun altında neredeyse hiç zarar görmemiş.

While touring the inside of the mill, I did not neglect to capture the views reflected on the door and the window. Despite everything, the door of the mill opens to this beautiful view.
It won't be long, in a few months, these places I stepped into will be under water. I wanted to visit and enjoy them while I had the opportunity and take you back to the past years.

Değirmenin içini gezerken kapıya ve pencereye yansıyan manzaraları çekmeyi ihmal etmedim. Her şeye rağmen değirmenin kapısı bu güzel manzaraya açılıyor.
Çok sürmez birkaç ay sonra adım attığım bu yerler su altında kalacak. Fırsat bulmuşken gezip tadını çıkarmak, geçmiş yıllara sizi de götürmek istedim.

After leaving the mill, I came across a red plant leaning against a piece of dried wood. I have never seen this beautiful plant before. Nature continues to surprise me as always. However, one should not be fooled by its beauty. There are many poisonous plants like this in nature. That's why I only took a picture of it.

Değirmenin içinden çıktıktan sonra kurumuş odun parçasına yaslanan kırmızı bir bitkiyle karşılaştım. Bu güzel bitkiyi daha önce hiç görmedim. Doğa her zamanki gibi sürpriz yapmaya devam ediyor. Ancak güzelliğine çok da aldanmamak lazım. Doğa da buna benzeyen birçok zehirli bitki bulunuyor. Bu yüzden sadece resmini çekmekle yetindim.

Right next to this plant, I came across a tree that had been under water for a long time but was still alive. The root of the tree is quite strong but the branches could not survive under the water and rotted. I hope it will continue to stand like this for many years.

Bu bitkinin hemen yan tarafında uzun zamandır suyun altında kalan ancak yaşamını devam ettiren bir ağaçla karşı karşıya geldim. Ağacın kök kısmı oldukça sağlam ancak dalları suyun altında dayanamayıp çürümüş. Umarım uzun yıllar bu şekilde ayakta durmaya devam eder.

Our trip lasted about an hour. Everything was very good until we set off, but we faced an unfortunate incident. The motorcycle broke down. Fortunately, we somehow fixed the malfunction and continued on our way. I took this photo after we fixed the malfunction.

Gezimiz yaklaşık bir saat sürdü. Yola çıkıncaya kadar her şey çok güzeldi ancak talihsiz bir olayla karşı karşıya kaldık. Motosiklet arızalandı. Neyse ki arızayı bir şekilde hallettik ve yola devam ettik. Bu fotoğrafı da arızayı çözdükten sonra çekmiştim.
