Hello everyone, I think everyone has heard of Franz Kafka. Honestly, I have heard of this distinguished writer many times, but I had the opportunity to read one of his works for the first time. While choosing a book in the library, this work caught my eye and I started reading it. Although the work is a translation of western literature, its content and the message to be conveyed are very well conveyed. Of course, the importance of the person who translated the book into Turkish is undeniable. I can say that the integrity of meaning was close to perfect. Franz Kafka is the main character of the book; He is trying to give a message through Gregor Samsa. I would like to partially summarize the book to better understand the message. Gregor wakes up one morning transformed into an insect. At first he cannot make sense of his body and thinks it is a dream. After he realizes the seriousness of the situation, he starts to think about how to explain this situation to his family and his manager at work. After a while, his family realizes everything and learns the truth. Gregor Samsan's transformation into a spider is partly helped by his mother and sister, but his father takes a harsh stance. Eventually Samsa dies.

Herkese merhaba, Franz Kafka'yı sanırım duymayan yoktur. Açıkçası bu güzide yazarı birçok kez duydum ancak ilk defa bir eserini okuma fırsatım oldu. Kütüphanede kitap seçerken bu eser gözüme ilişti ve alıp okumaya başladım. Eser, batı edebiyatına ait bir çeviri ürün olmasına rağmen içeriği ve anlatılmak istenen mesaj çok güzel aktarılmış. Tabi bunda kitabı Türkçe'ye çeviren şahsın önemi yadsınamaz. Anlam bütünlüğü mükemmele yakındı diyebilirim. Franz Kafka kitabın ana karakteri; Gregor Samsa üzerinden bir mesaj vermeye çalışıyor. Mesajı daha iyi anlamak kitabı kısmen özetlemek istiyorum. Gregor bir sabah böceğe dönüşmüş olarak uyanıyor. İlk başlarda vücuduna bir anlam veremeyip bunun rüya olduğunu düşünüyor. Olayın ciddiyetine vardıktan sonra bu durumu ailesine ve iş yerindeki müdürüne nasıl açıklayacağını kara kara düşünmeye başlıyor. Bir müddet sonra ailesi her şeyin farkına varıp gerçeği öğreniyor. Gregor Samsanın örümceğe dönüşmesine annesi ve ablası kısmen iyi davranmaya çalışsa da babası sert bir tavır sergiliyor . En sonunda Samsa hayata gözlerini yumuyor.

What I really wanted to tell in this novel, the main lesson I learned from the book; He tried to explain the strict hierarchical structure that exists in societies through Gregor Samsa. He tried to justify this through the insect he turned into. Before Gregor Samsa turns into an insect, he works selflessly at work and does his job properly, thus pleasing his manager and boss. This success of Samsa is reflected in his salary. Naturally, a good amount of money comes into the house. Naturally, his family is very pleased with this situation. Everything they want comes true thanks to Samsa. Despite all this, if Gregor does not go to work one day, his boss will get angry without question, and if he does not bring money home for a week, if he does not fulfill his family's wishes, his family will react in the same way. Therefore, Samsa becomes a good person when he works, when he brings money to his family, when he does not rebel, and vice versa.
He associates this situation with Samsa turning into an insect. After he turns into a beetle, his family accepts this bad situation without questioning it and after a while they start to treat Gregor badly. I think it expresses the disorder in society very well.
When you start reading the book, you encounter very simple expressions and even most of them seem unnecessary, but when you evaluate the book as a whole, when you think about it, the main subject of the book easily emerges and you enjoy the book.
Finally, a lesson I learned from the book is to be able to give people the value they need. People are always valuable...

Benim bu romanda asıl anlatmak istediğim, kitaptan çıkardığım ana ders; Toplumlarda var olan katı hiyerarşik yapıyı Gregor Samsa üzerinden anlatmaya çalışmış. Bunu da dönüştüğü böcek üzerinden temellendirmeye çalışmış. Gregor Samsa böceğe dönüşmeden önce iş yerinde özverili bir şekilde çalışıp işini layıkıyla yapıyor dolayısıyla müdürünü ve patronunu memnun ediyor. Samsanın bu başarısı maaşına da yansıyor. Haliyle eve güzel bir para giriyor. Doğal olarak ailesi bu durumdan çok memnuniyet duyuyor. Her istedikleri Samsa sayesinde gerçekleşiyor. Bütün bunlara rağmen Gregor işe bir gün gitmese patronu sorgusuz sualsiz kızacak ve eve bir hafta para götürmese, ailesinin isteklerini yerine getirmese aynı şekilde ailesi tepki gösterecektir. Dolayısıyla Samsa çalıştığı sürece, ailesine para götürdüğü, baş kaldırmadığı zaman iyi tam tersi durumda kötü biri olmaktadır.
Samsanın bu durumunu böceğe dönmesiyle ilişkilendiriyor. Böceğe döndükten sonra ailesi bu kötü durumu sorgulalamadan kabul ediyor ve bir müddet sonra Gregora kötü davranmaya başlıyorlar. Toplumdaki bozukluğu bence çok güzel dile getiriyor.
Kitabı okumaya başladığınız zaman çok basit ifadelerle karşılaşıyorsunuz hatta çoğu kısmı gereksiz gibi geliyor ancak kitabı bir bütün olarak değerlendirdiğiniz zaman, üzerine düşündüğünüz zaman kitabın ana konusu rahatlıkla ortaya çıkıyor ve kitaptan haz alıyorsunuz.
Son olarak kitaptan çıkardığım bir ders ise şu; İnsanlara gerektiği değeri verebilmek. İnsan her zaman değerlidir...
