V4V Vending Machines! - My Hive Dream App

Imagine being at work and needing a snack. You go to the vending machine, and then you locate the Raspberry Shortbread Cookies at H5!

You've GOT to have those Raspberry Shortbread Cookies! So you locate on the machine where to pay for your snack and you see 3 options available on the vending machine.

You can pay via:

• Cash (Fiat Dollars and coins)
• The card reader (Credit or Debit card)
• The V4V.APP (Bitcoin or $HBD)

As you can see, the best payment option to get those shortbread cookies is almost a no-brainer!

We're gonna pull out our phones, and turn some $HBD into a bag of delicious Shortbread Cookies.

In my local area, we've got plenty of Bitcoin ATMs. People here are familiar with Bitcoin and have seen it in places around here. I feel like if Bitcoin were on vending machines, as a payment option, it would allow current nocoiners to look at Bitcoin in a different way.

At this point, the only thing no-coiners think you can buy with Bitcoin now is US Dollars here. We have some restaurants that accept Bitcoin here where I live, but not many at all, and the ones that do accept Bitcoin here don't make it very obvious all the time.

Having Bitcoin in front of everyday working people, as a payment option for small common items would be a big step in helping people see crypto beyond the "investment".

With all this being said, the main chain for Bitcoin is slow, so the vending machines would need to use the Lightning Network.

And is there a better Point of Sale App for the Lightning Network than the V4V.APP?

No, and it's not even close!

The other POS Apps on the Lightning Network don't have $HBD with all of its features backing it.

$HBD is backed by a truly decentralized token used by everyday people on a daily basis. Most people understand social media and would be able to connect the dots that they can buy a Coke by posting the same stuff they post on Facebook and Reddit!

It just makes sense...

I wouldn't know how to code any of this. If I did I would be writing code instead of blog posts. But I'll at least try to speak V4V app on vending machines into existence.

I'm jealous!

I like coffee and snacks and have $HBD as well. I just really feel like the amount of Bitcoin ATMs having places for us to spend our bitcoin is the logical next step.

Definitely, would need to educate people about Lightning Network. And if they're put in front of a machine where the with showing $HBD and Bitcoin as payment options, how could they not get curious about $HBD and find the entire Hive ecosystem?

Is all this a dumb idea that would make no sense, or am I on to something here?
