Missed Opportunities in Life: My Experience
We do get opportunities, in our life sometimes we did get to grab them and sometimes we don't. That sure totally depends upon the situation at that time. There are so many times we all did get a chance but unfortunately, we did get lost for many reasons. we all do have our own stories about that and here is mine. Sometimes opportunities are around us but we did forget to look around. I hope you will enjoy it. So let's begin...
I was planning to buy a smartphone at that time my salary was not that much, but I was getting enough to cover my expenses. everything was going well But everything doesn't go our way, doesn't it? I had a smartphone but with time it became old and it used to hang a lot. So I was thinking of getting a new smartphone. I was saving an amount of my salary for months to buy a new smartphone. I was almost going to be there, in a few more months. I do think that sending too much money on phones and other expensive things is not worth it (in my opinion).
I had already deposited the money, but still I did not want to buy a new phone. I did get an opportunity to buy a good smartphone at a very cheap price. One of my office friends (Himanshu) did have a good smartphone at that time and he is planning to buy a new one soon. Me And one of my office friends (Vikash )want to buy it. That is only possible when Himanshu will buy a new smartphone. I and Vikash want to buy that smartphone, it was cheap of course that was a second-hand smartphone but still, it is worth it. Vikash and Himanshu both were my seniors at the office even though they were younger than me by age. Vikash managed to buy that smartphone at that time he did earn a good salary than me and Himanshu sold that phone to him. I did feel sad after that, but I was happy that the next month my money for a new smartphone will be collected.
But destiny has planned something else for me, Hiamshu belongs to a good family background. He did have good family support and he is financially stable that is what I do think of him at that time (now I am sure about that :D ), He did buy a Poco F1, which was his new smartphone. Sorry, I missed the last model but it was an oppo smartphone that I do remember correctly. The new smartphone was really good at that time it was one of the best gaming smartphones at that time. if you haven't checked this smartphone yet you can check it out 😅. Still, it seems to be a really good smartphone.

let's continue the story...
So, I was looking for smartphones online but now I want to buy Poco F1 badly, I did have many on my lists earlier but now I need that smartphone so for that I do have to wait for a few more months. I was ready for that I am good at saving from my early days. But there was something else waiting for me that I what I do think now.
Next month something happened that changed a few things for me, everything was going well for me. In the evening I did get a call from another friend at my office that was Rahul, about Himanshu and his accident happened that happened while traveling back to their home.
we used to get free early (not that much that time,it was golden days for us :P). BY gods grace they both were ok but Himanshu injured his leg. He was not able to walk properly, but he did visit the hospital I was with them at that time. A few of the office friends did help him and we all took him to his rented room here.
The next day Rahul told us that Himanshu's phone is broken and he will be on a leave for a week. So, we did visit him with some fruits and juice after our office. The small town does have a benefit, we can visit others easily. while visiting Himahsu he asked to look for a new smartphone but I asked him why he is not repairing that one. He told that he is going to sell it and will buy a new one by adding some extra money to that. A week later he was at the office, and he has a new smartphone with him (as I told you earlier he can afford that, sometimes I do think why he is even doing a job).
A few weeks later, I asked him will he sell his broken smartphone.
He said no I am not planning to sell it but if you can repair that you take it. I visited the phone center and I do have to invest around 6k INR which is approx 72.64 USD. that is cheap right year it is cheap The original cost of the phone was 4X. But I did get a chance or you can say the opportunity to grab it and guess what I did it and I am still saying the smartphone.

It's time to grab new opportunity 😝
You finally managed to get the nice phone and although your friend got injured, I’m happy to hear he’s fine and has a new phone of his own.
We both have some similarities in case of thinking. Investing money for smartphone like I am wasting it. For that reason I don't want to buy expensive smartphone.
I think you are lucky also because you were able to fix that smartphone. Sometimes opportunity come to us like this way..

Life will always give us opportunities, some may be better than others. But there will always be a way, a way, a chance.
Of course, that's not why we should let those opportunities pass us by, waiting for the next one.

I’m so thankful for the blessed spirit you have and share.❤️
This is how you grow your money , by compounding and not by spending what you have . In my thinking i would say that you should save 70 percent and spend 30 percent.
Balance in life is always good.
