Climbing the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge: A Journey of Magic and Strategy 🧙‍♂️🔮

Honestly, it is getting tough to play, especially in the last days of the season's end. Are you feeling the same or I am the only one? 🙃It is getting really tough for me to reach the gold league, I am struggling so hard to climb up on the leaderboard. But as long as you play it for fun it is ok. Especially the last few days were hard for me let's see if I will manage to reach the goal league, the cards are good as compared to the silver of course and that is gonna after my next season too. I am playing the battle along while I am making this post 🙃 Luckily I am winning again, not continuously though but still it is good to see.

Do you think as per your time zone you can get an easy or hard player at some specific time? So, let's stick to the topic without wasting any future time. So, let's begin with the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge!.

So this week RULESET was Keep Your Distance,

Description:
Units with melee attacks may not be used.
Use Phase, Void, Void Armor, and Magic Reflect to counter magic attacks.
Use Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks.
Units with 2 types of attack (which include melee) cannot be used.

This ruleset is kind of interesting in my opinion, the opponent can use all range or all magic cards. But in case there were two rulesets another one was Fire & Regret(All units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back.) So, I have only open left, that chooses all tha magic cards and that is kind of a favor for me I do love to play with magic cards.

The mana cap was 31 so I did have a decent place to play with and I did use this time a new strategy thanks to my mentor who shared this story with me. It is not an easy task to make your own strategy and figure out what is gonna work this time and what you have to use to win the battle. Sometimes it is really hard to predict, what about you? It is kind of fun right?

we both have used magic cares mostly. I have used Kelya Frendul in case the opponent is gonna use range cards wanna play the same this time. I was lucky and unlucky at the same time that the opponent do have the summoner with +1 magic ability. But I did have the advantage this time I do have a healer with me which is gonna help me a lot in the battle I was lucky that my opponent don't have any sneak monsters.

I am not sure what I am gonna do if there would be no magic cards it is really hard for me to play without magic cards I am kind of used too of the magic cards. what about you do you love to play with magic cards?

So, my lineup was:

• Venari Marksrat -:

The first on the line was `Venari Marksrat`, even though the card doesn't even have that many good stats but the `Martyr` (When a character with the Martyr ability dies in a battle, it gives adjacent characters +1 to all stats.)ability that did make this card a but dangerous. +1 stats is gonna change the battle in many ways and it did makes a huge difference for sure. do you use this card? I am using this card when I can get a chance in low mana battles it is gonna be very useful.

• Djinn Oshannus-:

The second on my line was Djinn Oshannus, this is one of my favorite cards in the game I do use this card a lot. you can say I did use this more than any other card the thing is simple. The stats are really amazing this cards many players do use this card too. But not all the time this card does work that totally depends on the rule set of course. With a health of 11, speed of 6, 2 magic, and the two abilities Void Reduced damage from Magic attacks and Phase (Magic attacks can miss this Monster")abilities this card is a monster, and after the death of Venari Marksrat this card become more dangerous.

• Venari Wavesmith-:

The third of my line was Venari Wavesmith, the card does have decent stats, and with the Protect (All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.) ability it gives +2 armor to the friendly monsters is really helpful in the battles where you can only user all melee monsters the more armor you have the better it will be. This card does have a health of 4, a speed of 4, and 2 magic attacks. This card can be less useful if your opponent is using magic cards then the armor is not gonna help you.

• Coral Wraith -:

The 4th on my lineup was Coral Wraith, I do use this card a lot mostly in the low mana and medium mana battles in higher I have used mana cards that is the best way to utilize the available mama else we are gonna waste it. I do like to add at least one sneak (Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster) ability card in my deck if that is available of course. The stats of the cards are decent. 3 health, 4 speed one magic. Try to keep this card in the middle of the deck that is the best way to protect this card. If the opponent is using opportunity ability cards then it can be a problem for you.

• Merdaali Guardian -:

The 5th card on my lineup was Merdalli Guardian, the card does have a special ability that is Tank Heal (Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round). this is gonna every useful if the opponent has no sneak, snipe, or opportunity ability cards. This card doesn't have attacks but the ability it seld is enough for this card. healing the first card on the line is amazing. Imagine you do have a decent tank and this card is keep healing it after every round then it can be a problem for the opponent of course but that is going to be helpful for you.

• Kulu Swimhunter -:

The last on my lineup was Kulu Swinhunter, this card didn't have any special abilities but this is useful to protect other cards and with an attacking power of two range and 3 speed, this card can help a lot if the opponent has no armor in their monsters. I was lucky that the opponent has no sneak ability cards in the battle. If the opponent is using that cards then it can be a problem for me but I was lucky this time maybe that is the reason I won the battle.

As you can see in the below screenshot, I did lose only one card, and the opponents all the line was cleared out. It did feel good. The man of the match is Djinn Oshannus in my opinion what do you think. If the stats of the cards were not that much good then I doubt that I would have won the battle what do you think?
