Banning Bots in Splinterlands: A New Era for Fair Play and Rewards
It's been a few weeks since the bots were banned in modern battles. I am sure Those regular players of splinterlands are happy with the decision. Those who have invested in the bots and in the cards were sure unhappy after the proposal was passed and implemented. I am sure they are still using the bots in the wild format. But not sure How long they can do that there too. The rewards in Modern are way better than in the wild, this is what I did realize recently. Now I am playing more modern the before, I didn't have that many cards to play in the modern but now I do have.
In every single game, we all do need real players no one wants to play with bots and lose. but as the tech is getting advanced it is getting easy to bypass things. I doubt that bot can be bammed totally what do you think it is possible? Maybe they have done that!

The team is working really hard, I am sure those who are following them closely then I am sure you do know that right? It is not an easy task to manage a game that is being played by many players at the same time and deal with bost at the same time. I am sure slowly the game can be free from all kinds of bots but to be honest that seems to be a bit hard for now don't you think?
Many of the players who don't play the game that much and are playing splinterlands for side income, I am sure did get affected by the new update. Can still use the bots in the wild format but still very hard is less as compared to the modern format. The whole purpose of the anti-bot proposal is to save the rewards from bots and distribute them among real players.
As you can see in the blue screenshot 74% of the players did approved the proposal end 26% of the players were opposing the proposal. No doubt that Dilbar those who were using the birds on the game for a long time. It's okay in a way if you are busy then you can set up the pot and then you are ready to play. But it must be hard for the real players to play among the bots. Yes, I do feel changes after the implementation of anti-bot updates. Sometimes I am getting easy battles and sometimes it is really hard to play honestly.
Splinterlands will try to implement anti-bot measures in Modern format.
There are still two more active proposal and both of them seems to be passed already because the majority of the players do want to implement these changes. Those who are regular and earning from sprinterlands depend on the game for earnings. I am sure they don't want to farm the reward. This year seems to be good for the players so many new changes have been implemented and in a way they are good. Players seem to like them, not everyone. Yes exceptions are everywhere and many players did oppose the updates but after the implementation, everyone has to follow them or those who don't want the left.

Besides the battle I am investing in SPS, not bullish but as an investment I am trying to invest a few amount of my earnings into SPS. Last week I did buy SPS and maybe tomorrow I will buy more I am buying around 100 SPS weekly. At this rate, I am going to buy 400 SPS monthly and if things will go accordingly I will buy around 1600 more SPS by the end of this year. I am gonna stay with them all other apr is lower compared to the days it used to be around 24% and now it's around 15%. Which is so what to still better than nothing right?
I am staking the SPS, and renting them in the market, and earning dec from it. English is low but still I am earning three things at the same time by taking the SPS.

So basically investing in SPS is really worth it because you are gonna on three things at the same time. Let's see all things will end up can't say but it is not going to be zero for sure. What do you think? What are your plans for SPS?

This is what I wanted to see in the splinterlands ecosystem from the past 2 years, Bots have destroyed the reputation of the game. Thank fully they are going to be removed.
aha it is to see real players fighting the battles it is getting more interesting and, to be honest, it is getting more hard for me. 😅 playing with real players is kind of hard. I have learned some newer strategies to win the matches.

For context, I have never used bots in my battles and I don't think I ever will. That being said, I think that banning all kinds of automatisms and bots is going to have a huge negative impact on the entire economy of the game.
This game remains very active thanks to the fact that the vast majority of players are bots. If the rules of the game are restricted or changed from time to time, in my opinion changes that are made somewhat arbitrarily, the confidence will be lost not only of the investors of these bots, but also of the human players who will have to assume part of the economic loss of the entire ecosystem.
In my humble opinion I don't think that the DAO is as DAO as it is advertised. When, for example, you state the following:
It is not completely true. What actually happens is that 74% of the staked SPS voted in favor of the proposal. Maybe the number of players is not even 5%, but they are the big holders of SPS. Maybe, and I'm not saying this is the case, it's that over 90% of the players voted against it but they don't have enough SPS to counteract the whale vote.
This way of introducing changes through the DAO's proposals will surely cause much more harm than good in the future, if for example, the owners of the bots' algorithms decide to battle not with cards but with SPS staked.
Changing the terms and conditions to access the application through the DAO is clearly a very bad precedent.
Finally, I have learned to enjoy battling with bots, at least they tend to use more ingenious strategies to win, than their human counterpart, who motivated by pure greed use 4 or 5 legendaries in each battle in the bronze league that should be exclusive to new players or apprentices.

agree with this, we do need bots in the true game the proposal is gonna impact the investors of the bot for sure. But it's still they can use the bots in the wild format not sure for how long.
Yes, you are right I told him that point thanks. Yes, there are a lot of play who haven't stayed there SPS but now many players do rent right like that is not gonna count right date oppose the proposal with the delegated SPS.
To be honest it is getting really hard for me to win after the bots are been removed from the modern format. I have to learn a few more strategies to win the match else I am gonna lose every single battle I will play.

How do I earn DEC if I am staking SPS? I have also decided to buy SPS to earn staking rewards though only see GLX coming in as reward so far.
With the bots gone it may be better for me to try again using Modern format this time.

Sounds like a good deed to me, playing with other human players makes more sense. If the battles in a game are between bots, it should be announced before participating.
The human player can be quite skilled and even the regular player ends up getting better with practice.
They should leave a bot mode, for people who invested money in that mode, but they should not be allowed to participate against people, because it is unfair.
