The Guardians of the Galaxy, The Groot inspired Art #1

Hello to everyone, how are you? I hope your family is ok welcome to a new Art post.

I got the idea of drawing this advanced Groot because I was watching the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Groot inspired me to draw and the main reason is that today I went to Sathyamangalam to Tiruppur for some work The climate was very pleasant because that inspired me to draw green field characters as you can see in the below is the climate is superb

First I did a rough sketch of what I needed to make and then slowly in progress the outline of the artwork first I didn’t go through full detail first I did a rough outline of the imaginary character I was trying to make after the outline work is done. I am on to the detailing part.

The next part is filling the base colour not going through any shadows are highlights just feeling the blaze colour will give us a rough idea of the character as you see in the below image eyes step-by-step added the bass colours

After I finish the best colour I added some more colours to the artwork because the colour was so flying so I thought it had some funky look to it so I added some more colour to it

This is the part and the most important part. Shadows bring out the artwork to full from, As we can see in the below Image the shadow brings out something more from the artwork without shadow the artwork is shallow nothing but a plain colour filled with adding some shadows we can bring out the life form

finally, our character is done but the background is so plain so I thought to add some trees grass and a star-like background and some lighting
