Visiting the new department store in town.

A few days ago a department store called Fashion Depot opened in the city, the promotion on social networks was such that several influencers were making videos the day of the event. Well, the influence of these people had an effect because I wanted to go to see if it was true that there were very nice clothes and at a good price.

The first thing I saw is that the place is big and is divided by sections, as I am a lady and I just wanted to buy some blouses I went to that section of the store. At first I didn’t see anything that convinced me since there were a lot of short blouses for very young girls and I stopped wearing those clothes years ago. Then I came across some sweaters that looked interesting at $12.99, my husband asked me why a sweater if it is so hot here, but I liked it anyway and had every intention of buying it.

I kept looking but there were too many people and I couldn’t get through. I stopped for a moment to look at the bags (although I wasn’t looking for a bag) because they had a 40% discount, but I didn’t like any of them.

When I wanted to try on the black and green sweater I realized that the line to the fitting room was too long and I found a lady trying on clothes down the aisles, but obviously I didn’t want to. Then I realized that the checkout line was even longer and I didn’t want to buy the sweater, even though it was a good price, considering the price in other stores. My husband who was in the gentlemen's area had the same thing happen to him as me, he couldn't find anything that really made him want to wait in line that long to pay for it.

In the end I didn’t buy anything in the store, although I corroborated that there are some clothes at a good price like flannels in almost 8$ that were nice with a print of the animated series Tom & Jerry, I liked them but it was not what I was looking for, I wanted something a little more formal. So I left there with nothing and looking for another store where I could find what I was looking for. I found it and I will share it in my next post.
