How to save time? Weekend-Engagement 148.
Lately I have read in several posts and even in comments where reference is made to the days being shorter than before and I have even read that 36 hour days would be fine because 24 hours is too few to do all the things we have to do.
I believe that the problem is not that the days are shorter than before and therefore we need longer days, but that we do not know how to use the time for productive things that enrich our soul and mind. It is also true that nowadays people suffer more stress for not having enough time, please, take a deep breath and do not acquire responsibilities that you can not fulfill and if you have them, my advice is “do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today” is a saying that I always tell my son when he comes home from school with a mountain of school commitments, it is true that they are for the following week, but if he is going to do them all on Sunday it is very likely that he also wants to have 36 hours.
One of the ways to save time is to wake up early, there is a common saying that says “the early bird catches the worm” and this is true, I see it from my experience, every time I have to do many activities, I have to get out of bed very early and start working. When that happens, the night before going to bed I make a list of the things I have to do the next day, like an itinerary that guides me mentally and helps me to stay focused throughout the day.
I don’t think the day should have more hours, I think people nowadays want to do a lot of things and also want to have time for social media. I don’t know if this part may hurt susceptibilities but I don’t use social networks much, I see a waste of time spending 30 minutes, an hour and sometimes even more time finding out about someone else’s life, why? Because generally what is posted on these social networks are lies.
Although hive is considered a social network where part of the commitment is to make community and visit the publications of other colleagues and leave a meaningful comment, I do not see it as a waste of time, starting because I would like to last in time and if I do not do it then I could not fulfill my goal and another reason is because I find it educational to visit publications of my interest where I can enrich my knowledge or simply feel identified with the experience of another person.
So my advice to save time is not to waste it, make our obligations in advance, plan and concentrate on what we have to do and finally let go of the phone from time to time.

Honestly spending hours on social media is waste of time and that time can be invested in something meaningful which can benefit our family, I have learned good lessons from your writing basically I should never leave any job for tomorrow rather I should always do all I can today.
Thank you

to be honest, when you start your day at 6 or 7am days feel longer in my opinion! and as you said, is better to stay away from social media or at least we have to try to control its use
Of course, I have also realized that the day gives up on me when I wake up early. I love to sleep but I only do it when I have nothing to do that day, for example today Sunday I slept a lot but I had nothing to do and I wanted to rest because tomorrow is Monday and I have to work and I have to be awake at 4:30 in the morning.
Sometimes we waste a lot of time in the networks as you say we must control its use.
Thanks for your visit.
Yeah, you're right. The day has enough hours. The problem is that many of us engage in many activities that aren't important. And that leaves us with inadequate time for important tasks. That's why we should always identify all the important tasks and do them first.
Thanks. I like the piece.
