Hola Damas , esta semana las preguntas del concurso están dedicadas a una fiesta imaginaria en Hawaii con temática de Halloween 🎃, si soy sincera nunca he asistido a una fiesta de Halloween o me he disfrazado en esas fiesta, pero como es imaginaria y se nos pide ser extravagante, vamos a ver como me va respondiendo las preguntas.

Hi Ladies , this week's quiz questions are dedicated to an imaginary Halloween themed party in Hawaii 🎃 if I'm honest I've never attended a Halloween party or dressed up at such parties, but since it's imaginary and we're asked to be extravagant, let's see how I'm doing answering the questions.

Debo confesar que en lo primero que pensé cuando leí las preguntas fue en la primera temporada de La serie The White Lotus el cual está ambientada en un resort muy elegante en Hawaii, así que en mi mente somos un grupo de damas hospedadas en este gran resort.

I must confess that the first thing I thought of when I read the questions was the first season of The White Lotus series which is set in a very elegant resort in Hawaii, so in my mind we are a group of ladies staying in this great resort.

Bueno, estando en un lugar tan elegante y con amigas tan distinguidas como lo son todas las damas de la comunidad, tenía que investigar y buscar un disfraz a la altura de la ocasión, así que me encontré con esta belleza.

Well, being in such an elegant place and with such distinguished friends as are all the ladies of the community I had to research and look for a costume to rise to the occasion, so I came across this beauty.

Un traje de bruja vampiro en tonos negro y rojo, falda corta, botas hasta la rodilla y capa. Lo conseguí en un sitio de compras por Internet donde seguramente lo habría comprado. Por aquí les dejo el enlace por si también se animan a adquirir uno.

¿A quien llevaría conmigo?

Who would I take with me?

En esta respuesta no seré tan extravagante ni me saldré tanto de la realidad. Mi amiga de toda la vida es mi hermana mayor por 11 meses, a la que tengo casi tres años que no veo, así que si tuviera la oportunidad de invitar a otra mujer para un viaje a Hawaii sería a ella. Me encantaría estar en el The White Lotus compartiendo con ella y que las conozca a todas ustedes.

In this answer I won't be so extravagant or out of touch with reality. My lifelong friend is my older sister by 11 months, whom I haven't seen for almost three years, so if I had the opportunity to invite another woman for a trip to Hawaii it would be her. I would love to be at The White Lotus sharing with her and for her to meet all of you.

¿Qué platos llevaría conmigo?

What dishes would I take with me?

Bueno, en mi fiesta perfecta y donde la imagino no tendría que llevar nada porque todo lo tendríamos, pero si tuviera que colaborar con algo que representará mi cultura gastronómica no podría ser otra cosa que tequeños. Si, tequeños, porque en mi país no hay fiesta o reunión donde falten estos deliciosos palitos de harina de trigo rellenos de queso. Así que imagínense todas disfrutando de estos deliciosos pasapalos.

In my perfect party and where I imagine it I wouldn't have to bring anything because we would have everything, but if I had to collaborate with something that would represent my gastronomic culture it couldn't be anything else but tequeños. Yes, tequeños, because in my country there is no party or meeting where these delicious wheat flour sticks filled with cheese are missing. So imagine all of you enjoying these delicious pastries.

¿Qué propondría como actividad?

What would you propose as an activity?

Ya que estamos disfrazadas pues una actividad propicia seria un concurso de disfraces. Pero para conocernos un poco más podríamos jugar a la botellita 😅 en este juego las personas hacen un circulo y giran una botella en el centro del círculo. La persona a la que le toque el fondo de la botella hará una pregunta y la que quedo en el picó pues debe responder esa pregunta. Este juego se puede hacer con preguntas de miedo, película de terror o experiencias paranormales. Claro, esto de acuerdo al tema de la fiesta.

Since we are in costume, a costume contest would be a great activity. But to get to know each other a little better we could play the little bottle 😅 in this game people make a circle and turn a bottle in the center of the circle. The person who touches the bottom of the bottle will ask a question and the person who is left on the bottom of the bottle must answer that question. This game can be done with scary questions, horror movies or paranormal experiences. Of course, this according to the theme of the party.
