Why we should not put DESERT DRAGON in the front line

This is my entry post for the Social Media Challenge organized by splinterlands.

This is the sentences form splinterlands' post. So I want to share this awesome battle with my friends.

DESERT DRAGON

DESERT DRAGON is a Chaos Edition monster from Dragon splinter. It has [Trample] and [Piercing] ability. It is like a killing machine. It can wipe out all of enemy's monster in a single turn. It should be used in do or die siutation.

But it comes with its own weakness. It has low [Health] and no defensive ability or [Heal] ability. It can be down too quickly. It should be used in the middle in the Melee Mayhem rule set. Stempede is in the rule set so it is neutral that ne choose DESERT DRAGON but in a wrong time.

Rule Set:

• Close Range - Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
• Stampede - The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
  

Flesh Golem

I wanted to use double [Heal] line up. So I put Flesh Golem in the front line. Flesh Golem has decent damage and high [Health]. It is a perfect monster as a tank. I supported Flesh Golem with an Armor so it will live longer.

QUEEN MYCELIA

I added QUEEN MYCELIA in second position. It can provide Armor to all friendly monsters. It also has [Amplify] ability. [Amplify] ability is useless in this battle but [Protect] ability is very helpful.

Wood Nymph

I added Wood Nymph in third position. This is the safest place. My opponent's strategy is very simple. He makes my tank with weaken with Gold Dragon and finished off with Desert Dragon. Wood Nymph asves me in this battle. Both of them can provide 6 health per round. So Fresh Golem will not die easily.

Goblin Sorcerer

I put Goblin Sorcerer in fourth positon. I attacked his backline but I did not think he will choose Gold Dragon in his team. It has [Heal] ability so Goblin Sorcerer is quite useless in this battle.

Furious Chicken

This is my scapegoat so I add it in last position. It has to stop if my opponent's attacks are coming from the behind.

Battle History

He would not have enough damage to finished off Flesh Golem but Desert Dragon is very miserable. As it did not have any defensive or survival ability.

Gold Dragon deal four damage every round while Desert Dragon can provide five damage per round. If this continue I will lose for sure but his Desert Dragon will not live very longer.

After Desert Dragon fall the rest of battle looks quite easily. Gold Dragon alone can do nothing and it will eventually fall.
