Slow and Sturdy
This is my entry post for the Social Media Challenge organized by splinterlands.
We want your best, most exciting posts about Splinterlands! Got a battle that is too good not to share? Have you created something amazing? Do you have thoughts on stats, cards, abilities, gameplay? We want it all! And we want it to be awesome.
This is the sentences form splinterlands' post. So I want to share this awesome battle with my friends.
URAEUS
I chose URAEUS as a themed card because it killed two monsters in the battle. I chose monsters with the same speed so my monsters will attack at the same time. URAEUS is quite good bacuse it has +1 Armor. I will put it in the last position.
I wanted to attack back line of my opponent. I put a sturdy tank in my front line and attack from the behind. I hope this is going to work. Close Ranged rule included but no one choose ranged attackers.

Mana Cost : | 38 |
Rule Set:
Reverse Speed -
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.Close Range -
Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
GRUM FLAMEBLADE
GRUM FLAMEBLADE has [Bloodlust], [Void] and [Void Armor] abilities. [Bloodlust] ability is too overpower so I tried to test my luck but it was not successful. GRUM FLAMEBLADE did not even kill a monster. But GRUM FLAMEBLADE is still helpful because my opponent chose a lots of monsters with magic attack. This favours me.
CARNAGE TITAN
CARNAGE TITAN is one of my favourite monsters. It has [Reach] and [Double Strike] abilities. [Double Strike] ability is very powerful. It can avoid [Forcefield] ability but it can deal up to 8 damage. If first monster is dead it will attack second monster so it is better than directly dealing 8 damage to a monster.
Kobold Miner
Kobold Miner is a very good sneaker from fire splinter. It has low mana cost compared to other monsters from neutral splinter. It effectiveness is lower than URAEUS because it did not have Armor to save his life.
Elven Cutthroat
The effectiveness of Elven Cutthroat is reduced because of the reverse speed rule. But it is still a sneaker so I put it in fourth position.
DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR
I put DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR in fifth position. It has [Sneak] and [Dobule Strike] abilities. [Double Strike] ability is as good as gold. It can kill monsters todd easily. That's is the reason why I chose two double strikers in my team.
Please read about the last position mosnter on the top of the page.
Battle History
Both of us amplify other monsters attack. I chose all melee monsters so my summoner usage is perfect. He chose two melee monster os his effectiveness is not perfect. His Silence is not affected my monsters at all.
His MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN down quickly because my monsters did not have 5 points of damage. Basically magic monsters have low Health. It is not wise to choose magic attackers in reverse speed rule. It can not heal the monsters from back line.
Now result is quite obvious. He only has two monsters left and none of my monsters has died.
This is the final moment of the battle. CARNAGE TITAN made the final deathly blow.
