Slaying a maxed level Phoenix

This is my entry post for the Social Media Challenge organized by splinterlands.

Phoenix

Phoneix is a legendary creature from ancient time. Rumors said it can even rebirth from death so it comes into Fire splinter. When it comes to Splinterlands it brings powerful magic from ancient times.

it has [Flying], [Blast], [Magic Reflect] and [Dodge]. It also has high magic damage[4] and high speed[5]. So its survivality is very high and because of [Blast] ability its can deal severe damage to the ememy's monsters. I have no idea to win this battle when I look at the battle arragnements. The only thing I am better is I have summoner that can increase my magic attack and [Void] ability that can reduce enemy's magic attack damage by half.

Rule Set:

• Fog ow War - Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
• Broken Arrows - Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
  

VENARI KNIFER

VENARI KNIFER has two abilities: [Thorns] and [BackFire]. Both of the abilities are good against melee monsters. It will deal damage to enemy's monsters regardless of their attack hit it or not. So naturally it would be first position monster.

Almo Cambio has [Immunity] and [Phase] ability. I chose it for second position because I need to counter his magic attack. Almo Cambio is still good against melee attack monsters because of his very fast speed.

Prismatic Energy

Prismatic Energy would be third position monster. This monster is very good again magic attackers because it has [Void] and ]Magic Reflect] abilities. It can throw back the smae magic damage to enemy's monsters if they do not have [Void] ability.

Spirit Miner

I wanted to increase the speed of my monsters. Sometimes speed does matter. I put Spirit Miner in a very safe location. Naturally it is position 4.

REGAL PERYTON

REGAL PERYTON is the most beautiful bird in Splinterlands. I gave last position to MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN so REGAL PERYTON has to accept her fate. Her position now becomes position 5.

MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN

MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN is very OP because it can attratct the attention of other monsters. It also has [Forcefield] ability that is very good counter for monsters with very high damage.

Battle History

All of his monsters are at maxed level. My total speed is 32 and his total speed is 30 so it is not too far behind. The maxed damage I can deal is 15 and his maxed damage is 23. He is very superior than me in terms of damage. But all of my monsters will attack his Pit Ogre.

VENARI KNIFER did not even have a chance to attack but [Thorns] still works. I finally took out Pit Ogre. This monster is very troublesome. Its speed is even higher than me.

Now I had only three monsters in my team. I am luck that FRIT RISING will not attack this round. I need to finish FRIT RISING and Imp quickly.

In this round I have number advantage. It is a step closer to slay a phoenix.

This is the final scene of this battle. We have the same [Health]. The person who got turn to attack will win. Spirit Miner is faster than his monster and deal the final blow.
