Importance of zero mana monsters

This is my entry post for the Social Media Challenge organized by splinterlands.

Furious Chicken and Corpse Fiend

This is a low mana match so we have to use a few monsters with low mana cost or one or two monsters with high mana cost. It is depends on one's choice. Zero mana cost monsters are especialy useful in this kind of situation. I often used zero mana monsters in my team.

Here I wanted to discuss about the monster he chose. He chose Xenith Monk and Feasing Seawood. His plan is to stop my monster with Xenity Monk and slowly kill my monster with Feasing Seawood. I chose a lots of monster so Feasing Seawood can not reduce my fire power. I also chose Undead Archer to stop Xenith Monk from healing itself.

		Splinter allowed :	Water, Earth and Death splinters
		Mana Cost :	12

Rule Set:

• Ferocity - All monsters has Fury ability.
• Even Steven - Only monsters with even mana cost can be used in battle.
• Close Range - Range attack monsters may be used in first position in battle.
  

It is obvious thatI put Furious Chicken and Corpse Fiend in first two position.

Undead Archer

It is quite a good mosnter with Affiction ability that can stop monsters from Healing. I put it in third position because I only need it for once.

Fallen Specter

I like Fallen Specter a lot because it can reduce the stats of my opponent's monster. Its speed is also too fast and in addition to this Flying ability was added. It is very hard to hit this monster. My opponent will use melee attackers because of Ferocity rule set so Ineed to chose Fallen Specter in case.

Twisted Jester

Twisted Jester became my primary damage dealer. It will attack the magic attack monsters or ranged attack monsters first but there is no such monster in my opponent's team. It is very neutral that it will attack the first position monster.

Battle History

I have no idea why he did not pick up zero mana monster in his team. Even if they die they will still beneit Feasing Seaweed thanks to his Scavenger ability.

Two of my zero mana monsters died in the first round but it worths it. I can surely tell I will win this battle but I believe Twisted Jester can be the game changer. It is a pity that Feasing Seaweed attacked Fallen Specter.

Feasing Seawood will be stronger over time. I hope my Fallen Specter will stop him completely.

It missed the attack and there is no more chance for him. He had stronger level card than me but finally .....
