Earthly Calamity: Battling against REGAL PERYTON

This is my entry post for the "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!".
This bird is really very interesting bird because it is the most beautiful bird in the Splinterlands universe.

They say there is nothing more beautiful than a Regal Peryton. They prefer to live in the mountains all across the Splinterlands, rarely seen by others. When they soar through the skies, the sunlight catches through their wings and creates rainbows underneath them. Regal Perytons are highly intelligent and consider themselves noble guardians of the natural world, using their magic to help others.

The above sentences are from the Lore of REGAL PERYTON. This is not a normal bird but it is a noble guardian. In the battle It is very hard to deal with REGAL PERYTON. It has 6 points of [Speed] and [Flying] ability so it can evade nearly 50% of physical attacks. If (melee or ranged) (no flying type) monsters with lower than 4 points of speed attack this bird, 55% of their attack will miss.

The formula for evasion is the following:

(Speed Difference x 10%) + 25% (if there is dodge) + 25% (if there is flying but it won't work on other flying troops or snare troops) + 15% (if there is blind) = Evade Chance

It also has 6 [Health] and two magic damage at level 6. This is quite high compared to its mana cost.

How do I counter REGAL PERYTON?

Monster with high speed, monster with flying ability and magic attack type monster can counter REGAL PERYTON. But there are another ways to counter REGAL PERYTON. These are [True Strike] and [Snare] abilities. In today battle I have a monster with [Snare] ability and this monster became the finisher of REGAL PERYTON.

Rule Set:

• Holy Protection - All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.
• Lost Legendaries - Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles.

Luckily I chose Brownie so the speed of my monsters can rival REGAL PERYTON. He has three monsters with one or two level higher than my monsters.

My Fresh Golem has been killed in one round. GRUND is a troublesome monster because it can deal 4 damage in single round. But GRUND will die very soon.

I am lucky that VENARI SCOUT attacked Brownie and missed. My Earth Elemental will die at the beginning of the round 3.

This is the key moments of the battle. Attack of Mitica Headhunter hit REGAL PERYTON and [Snare] ability immediately took affect. So it has no chance to evade the attack of Javelin Thrower. It will die eventually.

This battle is almost over. They will die one after another. My attack is too strong to handle.
