A pawn to be honored
Let's start with this position. This position can be reached from different opening. There are may people played the same position. This following is top five matches from database. There are two wins, two draw and one lose as White played.
Most of the people moved h6 but only one man move O-O. But my opponent moved b6. He gave me a chance to push my pawn forward but I did not do it.
The following is the position I wanted to discuss.
The engine recommendation is to move Knigt to e4 because of his queen is hanging but I did not see this so I took his pawn with my C pawn.
He can take back with his e pawn or take my e pawn with his knight. He chose first option. This is exactly a trap.
He thougt he got a free pawn but it became poison later. I pinned his rook and attack with pawn.
I got a rook back while he got a pawn. We got what we deserves.
This is his another mistake. I moved my rook to no 7 line and took his kinght and then threaten to take his bishop. He resigned this move. Sometimes I am happy to play check but sometime not especially when I lost.
