Two More Off The Track Waterfalls!
This year I have visited so many waterfalls and gotten so many images I have really liked!
On this particular outing, we met up with a family who had special ties to a waterfall on this route.
Once we started getting off track, we followed a river down to Marquise Falls which was the first fall of the day.
This one was not easy to capture, and I ended up slipping through a hole and getting soaked haha. Luckily my camera was securely in my bag at this point.
Once I had gotten my image, I continued down the river to meet up with the others who were on their way to the next waterfall. It was a little dicey getting down the side of the cascades, and going across a log to get to the other side.
This was not a shot that I really liked to begin with, but once I played around with it on my computer, I bought it to how it looked in person.
The log that flows through the frame is what we climed across to get here, and the rocks with a small trickle is how we climbed down.
Once we had visited this cascade, we went back up the way we had come and went past Marquise falls and continued for a few hundred metres through the shrub where we arrived at Gardner Falls.
Gardner falls is absolutely massive and a beautiful sight. Unfortunately it was too sunny (not something you normally complain about haha) to get a good shot, so this is pretty much a quick snap to show how cool it is. I think I will go back and try and get a better image of this waterfall one day!
We then had a super steep climb back up the top, and made our way back to the vehicles.
I hope you enjoy these images, and I enjoyed reliving these moments through writing this blog post :)

Beautiful shots as always Ben! Love the effort put in to get them as well!
Thanks Vince, I love exploring spots like these that are solemnly seen, and it’s a bonus if I’m able to capture some images like these :)
Looks like an awesome spot!
Totally bizarre seeing landscape shots from my state.
