The milky way and the aurora over the coast
Hey everyone, I've been fairly quiet here as I haven't been out taking many photos at all.
Here is an image I took on sunday night, with an unexpected aurora! I went down to capture the milky way rising from inside a cave here, however it was was to dangerous to get the shot I wanted, so I went back and got this shot. I am super stoked with it and hope you like it!
Then on monday night I headed out to the coast once again, with a different shot in mind at Childers cove. This one has been in the making for over a year waiting for conditions to line up, and the aurora added some beautiful glow to the sky again!
It was so good to be out getting some more astro shots, as they are well and truly my favourite type of photo, and while the editing takes a little bit to get the sky right, it's well and truly worth it!
I hope you enjoy these images I got!
