The Nightmare is Over!!!
I can't tell you how much I hate hate hate clothes shopping... but things have sort of got to the point where too many of my things are falling apart or have large holes and rips in them... and though that doesn't really bother me too much (as long as my arse isn't showing...), my wife really hates that I go out in crappy looking clothing... especially if I'm going to the university to teach! Apparently, I should dress up a bit for that... or at least not look like someone who just rolled out of bed and rocked up in their gardening clothes.
So, while I have been on tour, I've saved up my food allowance (I can't eat that much food...), and splurged a bit on a Uniqlo shop... it is the worst thing ever, I walk into the shop... and I have no idea what I need, and no idea what I want... and then I wander around, and I probably end up with way more than I need... and quite a few things that I end up doubling up with things that I forgot that I had!
... and I do prefer Uniqlo as it is a sort of no frills no obvious branding sort of place... I hate wearing anything that has words or designs on it... I like just solid colours or patterns. Blend in, don't stand out!
... and I did walk away with a few shirts, even a nice shirt for family occasions when my wife prefers that I wear collared shirts and preferably something that isn't concert gear. A few pants, loose and light for summer... no tight fitting things, they look really stupid on me... a light jumper... and the two big purchases, a wind proof light jacket for when I'm travelling... and an extra concert black jacket. And as always, everything has as many pockets as they can possibly fit... well, not the shirts... those have the regular amount, but I'm a pocket fiend... it is the first thing that I look for in clothes!

😂😂😂
My mother is particularly picky about my clothes...
In my defense, it covers my arse and my chest.
It ain't smelling...
It's comfortable...
Its clothes😂😂😂
Going to the market to try and pick a shirt is way too much stress, then I'd come back and hear how I could've gotten a better bargain or how the colors don't match😭😭😭😂😂😂
Haha... that all sounds very familiar!
Hahahaha this is really the hate of all hates going for clothes. I shifted over to shopping it all online and it is so much better for the vibe haha
I would do the online thing, but I end up finding that everything doesn't really fit... and then I have to return them and order again.
My wife usually does most of my clothes shopping. It's just easier that way! Nice haul!
Even the undies???
As a matter of fact yes. She just bought me some new ones the other day!
Glad to know I'm not and only one who keeps clothes until it is basically in tatters! And even then I will still try to salvage the situation.
Is this the definition of "Wear and Tear"?
I think it is best described as "sustainable?"
