Strangely Delectable.

I'll start by saying am a food lover, Yh I love food and I by default I like to have a taste of every meal that I can get my hands on,I give myself the credit. The fact that I want to know how most meals taste doesn't mean I will fall in love with it though, I definitely won't like what is not good and excellent in taste, I crave only good and delicious meals .

I have eaten alot of meals, I've also eaten weird stuffs ,as in really strange meals. But as we all know, even amongst the weird, there is the weirdest. You wouldn't believe what I ate, sincerely I kind of feel weird even trying to say it but oh well it's actually food even if I'm not into it.

I ate a jumping chicken, you're lost right, that's actually a nick name, it's original name is a frog.

That's the weirdest food that ever went through my guts and yes I digested it.
The frog is a living being as we all know and is fished out from swamps or small rivers by means of hooks or net. It's undergoes a certain process of smoking before final preparation as that is believed to make it taste better.

While I ate this I wasn't really happy though it tasted nice because it's weird, my thoughts were like
"why choose to eat a frog amongst numerous options of meat"
I ate from a friend out of curiosity, I really wanted to taste it and then my mom never offered my household such meals, she never supported it.

I was at the age of 10 when I ate it while I was in school, I was actually a boarding student and remember clearly that it was on the 1st Saturday of that month which I can't remember but was visiting day, the frog was part of the meal my friend's parent offered him, I had never eaten it so I was damn curious, I really wanted to have a taste of it which I did.

For the records, frogs are very good sources of proteins, I recommend them for you but as for me that was the first time I ate it and it's definitely the last.

You mentioned that the "jumping chicken" tasted nice but you do not choose to eat it again. It is understandable because it is not the most common food and it was not something that you ate at home. In some countries - it is normal food and a delicacy. However I understand that eating a frog could seem strange and unusual as it is not a widely known domesticated animal bred for human consumption.

I think the reason that the frog is called a jumping chicken is that - it jumps and it taste like chicken. Was that your experience with the taste? It does seems like a strange thing to eat but many people do love chicken - could it be considered a replacement? I'm kidding.

In some countries eating frogs is not a strange thing and the parents of your friend did not think it was strange as they served it. However, although you consider the taste to be nice you said it was the last time. I guess it is because there are other nice foods to eat -so why eat a frog - right?

Frogs are a delicacy made by some people, but it is not a protein I would put in my food for the rest of my time on this earth. It does not sit well with me and like you said I will be disgusted, sometimes I wonder how people who eat it can stand knowing it actually a frog they are putting in their stomachs.

Hahaha, and why on earth are you recommending it for us if it's definitely the last time you are going to eat frog, hahaha 😂, there's God oo 😂
The nickname you gave it is also funny
You know, I have eaten tortoise 🐢 before... like talking about it now, I feel like throwing up🤦
I was just curious like you but never had a good experience with it
