Hello friends from the @splinterlands community, I come to share with you my entry to the contest number 267 with my version of REXXIE, an earth element card, the original art is a dinosaur but its cartoonish style caught my attention so I wanted to make my own version of the character, I really liked the result of my version so I hope you like it, below I will show you my process of creating my drawing.

• Hola amigos de la comunidad de @splinterlands vengo a compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso numero 267 con mi versión de REXXIE una carta de elemento tierra , el arte original es un dinosaurio pero me llamo la atención su estilo caricaturesco así que quise hacer mi propia versión del personaje, me gusto muchos el resultado de mi versión así que espero les guste, a continuación les mostrare mi proceso de elaboración de mi dibujo.

Process

STEP 1: Sketch and lineart, in this first layer, I made the sketch of the drawing on this same layer and at the same time I was cleaning the lines and then adding more texture to the drawing, by doing this I saved a little more time since the sketch now becomes the same lineart of the drawing.

• PASO 1 : Boceto y lineart , en esta primera capa , realice el boceto del dibujo en esta misma capa y al mismo tiempo fui haciendo limpieza de líneas para luego ir agregando mas textura al dibujo, al hacer esto ahorro un poco mas de tiempo ya que el boceto ahora se convierte en el mismo lineart del dibujo.

STEP 2: Color, in another layer add the base colors of the drawing, use the colors of the art of the card to make it similar but with my version, two colors were used in this layer, a light green and almost greenish yellow on the chest to then add a little more detail.

• PASO 2 : Color, en otra capa agregue los colores base del dibujo, use los colores del arte de la carta para hacerlo parecido pero con mi versión, dos colores fueron usados en esta capa , un verde claro y amarillo casi verdoso en el pecho para luego agregar un poco mas de detalle.

Then I added the shadow to give a little volume to the drawing. I did this in another layer so as not to damage the base color of the drawing. It is always better to work on the details separately.

• Luego fui agregando la sombra para dar un poco de volumen al dibujo, esto lo hice en otra capa para no dañar el color base del dibujo, siempre es mejor trabajar los detalles por separado.

Add a darker tone to give a better finish to the drawing, then add a little light to give a better result, I liked how the painting turned out so it lacks a background that would give a little life to the default white the layer so make one.

• Agregue un tono mas oscuro para dar un mejor acabado al dibujo, luego agregue un poco de luz para dar un mejor resultado, me gusto como quedo el pintado así que le falta un fondo que le diera un poco de vida al blanco que trae por defecto la capa así que realice uno.

I really liked the result in this drawing, little by little I am experimenting with new techniques that allow me to advance and improve in my learning process, I really liked this version since I have wanted to draw REXXIE for a long time and I feel that my work meets the similarity but with my own version of the letter, I hope you like it and see you in a future post.

• El resultado me gusto mucho en este dibujo, poco a poco voy experimentando con técnicas nuevas que me permitan avanzar y mejorar en mi proceso de aprendizaje, esta versión me gusto mucho ya que desde hace tiempo queria dibujar a REXXIE y siento que mi trabajo cumple con el parecido pero con mi propia versión de la carta, espero les guste y nos leemos en un próximo post.
