Hello everybody! I hope you are having a great day! My weekend was amazing! I was able to see friends that I hadn't seen in a long time, and go to eat and drink at a little bar that I really like in Mendoza. Also, a while ago I had done a big cleaning at home, so I decided to finish donating the clothes I had decided to give away.

So this weekend consisted of doing different activities, among which was also, of course, doing some cleaning and sitting on the couch to watch series with my dog.

My Friday

I mainly did some planning for this weekend, which in comparison to others, was quite full of activities and then, in the afternoon, I met up with my friend Gabriela, who had traveled from San Luis to celebrate her grandmother's birthday.

We went to 886, a very relaxed bar in the city where you can quietly enjoy a few beers and delicious food with vegetarian options (no, I am not a vegetarian, but I really like that kind of food, so I appreciate when locals have them on their menu).

I had this tasty burger and a red beer.

It was a great moment, as we met there his friend Mauro, after the years also a friend of mine, who stayed a long time with us chatting and catching up.

A great news of this meeting is that David, another friend of Gaby's, is in the kitchen of this bar, so the meals, which were already good, are now spectacular, as David is a great chef.

Oh in the table we had this beautiful flower vase, I mean it’s not beautiful but to me it matched perfectly with the energy of the place and the decoration, like old style.

I take this opportunity for introducing you the most important theatre in Mendoza city: Independencia’s. When I was driving to the bar I saw it, and I managed to take a picture while I was driving.

My Saturday

On Saturday I decided to tidy up my house a bit, and I spent quite some time waiting for a message from my friend Nacho, someone I love very much, but with whom I lost contact because we both follow very different paths.

While I was waiting, I went to a supermarket that is pretty close to my place, and I was very lucky for having this view:

Also, on Saturday I took the opportunity to clean a grill for a barbecue with my parents and prepare some dried twigs for the same. Unfortunately I couldn't see them because they both had symptoms of covid, so the barbecue will be for next week if everything goes as planned.

The good thing is that I got his message, and around 8:00 pm, we got together to chat non-stop until midnight. It was very nice to get together with a friend I hadn't seen for a long time and to feel that it hadn't been more than a couple of weeks without seeing each other.

We walked along Arístides Villanueva street in my city, and we sat down in a place that specializes in french fries: "Papanato".

My Sunday

This was a great day, as I finished making the donation I had started a few weeks ago, and took to the Lourdes del Challao Church (also in my city), all kinds of clothes for those in need. Although the day was not very nice, it was very nice to be able to finish this donation.

I personally believe that by taking out of our house clothes that we no longer use and that are there, let's say "stagnant", we are opening the door to the renewal of energy and the arrival of new things to our life, not only in terms of objects, but also people and moments.

It turns out that when I came back from my trip, I realized that my head had changed quite a lot (luckily), and walking for so many months I understood that material things are important and many of them are extremely useful for our life (and I am grateful to have them). However, many times we accumulate, we keep "just in case", and it turns out that we end up having a lot of objects that are part of a stage of life that we have left behind or that we are trying to let go, without realizing that they keep just the energy that we are trying to let go.

For this reason when I arrived, I decided that I was going to do a cleaning of everything that for my mind represents stages of the past that are no longer with me.

So this was my weekend, entertaining, particular, unique and different from the ones I've had in these almost two months I've been in my hometown.
