One of the party nights at Bar Bowling: Les Gets, France

Hello dear friends of Hive and Weekend Experiences! I hope you are having a beautiful day.

This time I bring you some pictures from a few nights ago, when we went to a place called Bar Bowling with my coworkers. It was one of our first outings together.

It was a Friday, but to be honest, with the pace of work and following the tourists' wave, weekends as such, I think they have lost their meaning, because many days do not seem to mean a weekend at all, while there are weekdays that look too much like a Tuesday.

This has been an interesting experience regarding the concept of the weekend and what the calendar tells us, hehe. Of course there are Fridays and Saturdays, but it often seems that they are all Fridays and Saturdays, or that they don't exist at all, because of the way the city moves.

It is very common here to go out partying, in fact my classmates spent about 10 days going out every night. Added to that were the hours of skiing and working during the day.

I was only able to join 2 days in a row and another 2 days separately, hehe. The truth is that I lost the rhythm of so much partying.

These images are from the first day I was at Bar Bowling, because I had a lot of energy available to dance and enjoy, so I also took the opportunity to take some pictures with the intention of sharing them with you.

Bar Bowling is located on the only main street of Les Gets and is in front of very well known bars like Black Bear and Barbylone, and is almost next to Igloo, another bar that offers music and drinks.

At Bar Bowling, in addition to dancing, you can play bowling in the middle of the party, and you also have billiards. Most people have a drink or two, dance, and then take over the gaming space to enjoy some of the entertainment. Black Bear works a bit in the same way, but does not offer bowling, only billiards and darts.

All of these are very small places that fill up with people, both locals, tourists and seasonal workers. The city is so small, that we usually meet our guests in these places, hehe.

Something quite interesting too, is that around here people drink a lot. The place is dominated by people from the UK. I don't know if it is a cultural thing to drink so many alcoholic beverages, but sometimes I am surprised by the quantity and variety.

The other day, one of the girls on the team, who is 18 years old, had 2 gin, 4 shots and several glasses of white wine and she was perfectly fine.

As you will see from the poster, people in these bars-pubs are usually pretty drunk, hehe.
