Friendship: an ever-expanding value

I love the fact that I have found "my tribe".

I hope you are very well in the Family & Friends community, today with this brief introduction I come to share with you something beautiful that is happening to me and that is that in Ibiza, I have found a group of beautiful people that little by little are becoming like my family from a distance.

Because of my traveling experience, I know that one day I will not see them as often as I see them now, so I try to take advantage of the moments I share with them as much as possible.

Among these people are Gaby, my co-worker, Viru, a friend from Instagram, Caro, Anto, Coty and Artu, who are Viru's friends (the last two are brothers), Mati, a friend of my Yoga teacher from Argentina, Dey and Romi, who are from Mendoza, Nati, who is here with her husband temporarily and who are also from Mendoza.

La amistad: un valor que siempre expande

Me encanta el hecho de haber encontrado a “mi tribu”.

Espero que estén muy bien en la comunidad de Family & Friends, hoy con esta breve introducción vengo a compartir con ustedes algo hermoso que me está pasando y es que en Ibiza, he encontrado a un grupo de personas hermosas que poco a poco se van haciendo como mi familia a la distancia.

Por mi experiencia viajera, sé que un día pues no los veré más con la frecuencia que los veo actualmente, por eso intento aprovechar los momentos que comparto con ellos al máximo posible.

Entre estas personas se encuentran Gaby, mi compañera de trabajo, Viru, una amiga que salió de Instagram, Caro, Anto, Coty y Artu, que son amigos de Viru (los últimos dos son hermanos), Mati, un amigo de mi profe de Yoga de Argentina, Dey y Romi, que son de Mendoza, Nati, que está aquí con su marido de manera temporal y quienes también son mendocinos.

Little by little and although as I said, I don't see everyone all the time, they are people who are joining my small community in Ibiza. And of course, how not to mention Cris, the lady to whom I rent the room, Claudia, her daughter and Fran, my roommate.

I feel blessed with these people around me, since emigrating or making long trips alone is beautiful, but there comes a time when one begins to need contact with others, that real contact, that strong hug, that little message that says "friend let me know when you arrive", that little gift from someone because they wanted to pamper you, that advice because they do not see you well and those congratulations because you took an impressive step in your life.

Being such a lonely person, many times I am surprised how much I needed closeness, and this has made me discover that it is not that I am lonely, it is that I choose to be only with me when the company is not good; it is that I love to surround myself with those people when they contribute to the expansion, to the enjoyment, to the growth.

Poco a poco y aunque como les comentaba, no vea a todos todo el tiempo, son personas que se van sumando a mi pequeña comunidad en Ibiza. Y claro, como no mencionar a Cris, la señora a quien le alquilo la habitación, Claudia, su hija y Fran, mi compañero de piso.

Me siento bendecida con estas personas a mi alrededor, ya que emigrar o hacer viajes largos sola, es hermoso, pero sí que llega un momento en el que una empieza a necesitar el contacto con otros, ese contacto real, ese fuerte abrazo, ese mensajito que dice “amiga avísame cuando llegues”, ese regalito de alguien porque tenía ganas de mimarte, ese consejo porque no te ven bien y esas felicitaciones porque diste un paso impresionante en tu vida.

Siendo una persona tan solitaria, muchas veces me sorprendo de cuánto necesitaba la cercanía, y esto me ha hecho descubrir de mi que no es que sea solitaria, es que elijo estar solamente conmigo cuando la compañía no es buena; es que me encanta rodearme de esas personas cuando las mismas aportan a la expansión, al disfrute, al crecimiento.

And actually this is something I really hold: if I am going to be with people, I choose that those people vibrate high, because they are also agents that make my life go one way or the other, as I can also contribute more and better to their lives, or be a downer when it is not what they need.

Currently all these people have helped me and have accompanied me to be here in Ibiza and to make this place a home, surely transient, who knows, but today, it is not only nature and these beautiful cities that embrace me, but also this beautiful community that has welcomed me with open arms.

All I can do from the bottom of my heart is to say: THANKS!

Y actualmente realmente esto es algo que sostengo: si voy a estar con gente, elijo que esas personas vibren alto, porque también son agentes que hacen que mi vida vaya para uno u otro lado, como yo también puedo aportar más y mejor a sus vidas, o ser un factor de bajón cuando no es lo que necesitan.

Actualmente todas estas personas me han ayudado y me han acompañado a estar aquí en Ibiza y a hacer de este lugar un hogar, seguramente pasajero, quien sabe, pero hoy, no solamente es la naturaleza y estas bellas ciudades lasque me abrazan, sino también esta hermosa comunidad que me ha recibido con los brazos abiertos.

Todo lo que puedo hacer desde lo profundo de mi corazón es decir: GRACIAS!!
