Although a few days ago I came to this space half unintentionally, this time, I decided to really walk it, and that's why I bring you this post.

Hola queridos amigos de Hive, espero que estén pasando un día hermoso. En esta oportunidad me los llevo a pasear por el Castillo de Ibiza, uno de los sectores más hermosos de la ciudad.

Aunque hace unos días llegué a este espacio medio que sin querer, en esta oportunidad, decidí realmente caminarlo, y es por eso que les acerco este post.

I had the blessing of working for a week in a cafeteria that is located in an area belonging to UNESCO. The cafeteria is called Can Raio, and I didn't stay there because of the way the chef treated me. I want to work in Ibiza, but I also want to enjoy my days here and have a good time in the work team. So unfortunately, although I loved everything about this job, I had to quit.

Tuve la bendición de trabajar durante una semana en una cafetería que se encuentra en una zona perteneciente a la UNESCO. La cafetería se llama Can Raio, y no me quedé allí por una cuestión del trato del jefe de cocina. Quiero trabajar en Ibiza, pero también quiero disfrutar de mis días aquí y pasarla bien en el equipo de trabajo. Así que lamentablemente, aunque todo me encantaba de este empleo, tuve que renunciar.

However, one of the first days there, when I got off work, I decided to go and explore the castle. In doing so, I realized that in the end, when you get to the center of Eivissa, it is very simple to find the castle and in fact it is very difficult not to end up there. In the end all I did when I left work was to turn into a somewhat steep street, and suddenly I was already climbing up to the castle.

I decided to keep walking to let myself be surprised by what this place had in store for me, and in the end I came across some breathtaking panoramic views. Suddenly, the Mediterranean Sea stretched out before me as if it were a photo placed in front of my eyes.

Sin embargo, uno de los primeros días allí, cuando salí de trabajar, decidí irme a explorar el castillo. Al hacerlo, me di cuenta que al final, cuando uno llega al centro de Eivissa, es muy simple dar con el castillo y de hecho es muy difícil no terminar allí. Pues al final lo único que hice cuando salí de trabajar fue girar hacia una calle algo empinada, y de pronto ya me encontraba subiendo al castillo.

Decidí continuar caminando para dejarme sorprender por lo que este sitio tuviera para mí, y al final me encontré con unas vistas panorámicas impresionantes. De pronto, el Mar Mediterráneo se extendía ante mí como si se tratase de una foto puesta frente a mis ojos.

Ascending to the castle, one not only finds this panoramic view, but also has the possibility of accessing the Archaeological Museum, which is located near the Cathedral Square. Both spaces are reached by narrow streets that present different materials, which surely belong to different periods. Although I do not have precise knowledge of this, it is very clear by the care that present one or other sectors of the buildings.

Al ascender al castillo, uno no solo se encuentra con esta vista panorámica, sino que también tiene la posibilidad de acceder al Museo Arqueológico, que se encuentra cerca de la Plaza de la Catedral. A ambos espacios se llega por estrechas calles que presentan materiales diferentes, que pertenecen a diferentes épocas seguramente. Aunque no tengo conocimiento preciso de esto, es clarísimo por el cuidado que presentan unos u otros sectores de las construcciones.

As you continue walking, there is also a bar that claims to be the first in the area. It is very small and offers a great diversity of drinks. This time I did not drink anything there because I was tired after 7 hours of work, but today I tell you that in a pending that I have, I must try something from that corner of the castle.

You will see signs asking for silence, because next to the bar there is a convent, something quite interesting.

Al continuar caminando además, hay un bar que dice ser el primero de la zona. Es bien pequeño y ofrece una gran diversidad de bebidas. Esta vez no tomé nada allí porque estaba cansada después de las 7 horas de trabajo, pero hoy les digo que en un pendiente que tengo, debo probar algo de ese rincón del castillo.

Verán carteles que solicitan silencio, pues al lado del bar hay un convento, algo bastante interesante.

The castle of Eivissa in Ibiza is something you should know if you come to this city, because it offers that historical part, that transfer to another time so characteristic of European cities.

It also lets us see the magic of Ibiza: a city that brings together hills, sea, calm, party, history and much more.

El castillo de Eivissa en Ibiza es algo que debes conocer si vienes a esta ciudad, pues ofrece esa parte histórica, ese traslado como a otra época tan característico de las ciudades europeas.

Además nos deja ver la magia de Ibiza: una ciudad que reúne colinas, mar, calma, fiesta, historia y mucho más.
