Hello my dear friends of Hive and Pinmapple. Today we will stroll through a dream landscape, that whoever has been there can affirm that he managed to disconnect from life itself to move to another dimension.

Walking along the Lago Di Como in Italy, is to move through a space that has a unique brightness, as the body of water reflects the sun and the landscape, and brings us closer to delicious Italian landscapes.

My excursion consisted of visiting Bellagio, which is one of the small towns located in the province of Como. I was staying in Milano, and there were several options to get out of the city for a while, so I decided to make a getaway. It was between Verona and Lago di Como, but I chose the latter for the scenery I could see while doing my research.

Ven a pasear conmigo por el Lago Di Como y Bellagio: descubriendo un paraíso en Italia

Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive y Pinmapple. Pasearemos hoy por un paisaje de ensueño, que quien sea que haya estado por allí puede afirmar que logró desconectarse de la vida misma para pasar a otra dimensión.

Caminar por el Lago Di Como en Italia, es moverse por un espacio que tiene un brillo único, pues el cuerpo de agua refleja el sol y el paisaje, y nos acerca a paisajes italianos deliciosos.

Mi excursión consistió en visitar Bellagio, que es una de las pequeñas ciudades que se encuentran en la provincia de Como. Yo me estaba hospedando en Milano, y habían varias opciones para salir de la ciudad por un momento, por lo que decidí hacerme una escapada. Estaba entre Verona y el Lago di Como, pero elegí este último por los paisajes que pude ver mientras hacía mi investigación.

Arrival in Como and visit to Piazza Cavour

You get to this province by bus from Milan as an excursion, at least that was the trip I did, and once in Como, you are strolling around for a while. You can go for a coffee to go to the bathroom or you can simply walk around and have an ice cream in the meantime.

In Como you will have the chance to see Piazza Cavour, Piazza Camillo Benso Conte de Cavour next door, Piazza del Duomo and the Como Cathedral. All this beautiful, with an undisputed Italian style.

However, for me the most beautiful thing was sitting on the side of the lake and contemplating it in all its splendor. While waiting for the group to gather to catch the ferry that would take us to Bellagio, I took the opportunity to take several pictures of this beautiful landscape surrounded by soft green mountains.

Llegada a Como y visita a Piazza Cavour

Se llega a esta provincia en bus dese Milan a modo de excursión, al menos ese fue el viaje que hice yo, y una vez en Como, estás paseando un momento por allí. Puedes ir a tomar un café para ir a un baño o puedes sencillamente caminar y tomar un helado mientras tanto.

En Como tendrás la posibilidad de conocer la Piazza Cavour, la Piazza Camillo Benso Conte de Cavour que está al lado, la Piazza del Duomo y la Catedral de Como. Todo esto hermoso, con un estilo italiano indiscutible.

Sin embargo, para mí lo más bello fue sentarme a un costado del lago y contemplarlo en todo su esplendor. Mientras esperaba que el grupo se reuniera para tomar el ferry que nos llevaría a Bellagio, aproveché para tomar varias fotos de este hermoso paisaje que se rodeaba de montañas verdes y suaves.

On the ferry

The most beautiful thing you can do in Como is to take a ferry to visit one of the towns surrounding the lake.

The particularity of this experience is that you will be entering a landscape of mountains and they will begin to embrace you in some way, as they are everywhere. They are low formations with peaks that have been softened by erosion.

They have towns and cities and as you navigate, the guide will tell you the names of these places and also tell you curious facts such as the fact that internationally recognized celebrities have homes in this area. For example, the coveted George Clooney has a house in Laglio, one of the towns in this city.

Other towns near Bellagio that you will see from the ferry are San Giovanni, Tremezzo, Riva, Lenno and others.

Lo más hermoso que puedes hacer en Como es tomar un ferry para ir a visitar alguna de las ciudades que rodean el lago.

Lo particular de esta experiencia es que irás adentrándote en un paisaje de montañas y las mismas empezarán a abrazarte de alguna manera, pues están en todos lados. Se trata de formaciones bajas con cimas muy suavizadas por la erosión.

Ellas cuentan con pueblos y ciudades y a medida que vas navegando, el guía te indicará los nombres de estos lugares y también te contara datos curiosos como el hecho de que famosos reconocidos internacionalmente tienen casas en esta zona. Por ejemplo, el codiciado George Clooney tiene una casa en Laglio, uno de los pueblos de esta ciudad.

Otros pueblos cercanos a Bellagio que verás desde el ferry, son San Giovanni, Tremezzo, Riva, Lenno y otras.

Bellagio

I was very lucky to have chosen this place, because the truth is that I knew absolutely nothing about this region, and I chose the pack with Bellagio in a very random way. However, it was wonderful to visit this small town.

Being on a hill, there are many small streets going uphill. They are narrow and have clothing stores, coffee shops, jewelry shops and others, which go into these ancient buildings, in medieval burg style.

That was my first time traveling alone in Italy, so I was surprised at every step I took, and what struck me most from Bellagio, was to climb a little and watch how the layout of those streets was drawn in front of me along with the walls that gave a certain feeling of labyrinth.

Bellagio also has bars and restaurants where you can eat or have a drink, and they are adjacent to Lago Di Como, so you can experience something very beautiful.

Although the place offers these opportunities, I opted to walk and see more of this space, since in this town there are parks and trekking circuits to visit.

Bellagio

Tuve mucha suerte de haber elegido este lugar, pues la verdad es que no conocía absolutamente nada de esta región, y elegí el pack con Bellagio de manera muy aleatoria. Sin embargo, fue una maravilla visitar ese pequeño pueblo.

Al estar en una colina, hay muchas callecitas en subida. Las mismas son estrechas y cuentan con negocios de ropa, de café, de joyas y otros, que se adentran en esas construcciones antiguas, al estilo borgo medieval.

Aquella era mi primera vez viajando sola por ITalia, por lo que me iba sorprendiendo a cada paso que daba, y lo que más me llamó la atención desde Bellagio, fue subir un poco y observar cómo se iba dibujando el trazado de aquellas calles por delante mío junto con las paredes que daban cierta sensación de laberinto.

Bellagio además cuenta con bares y restaurantes donde comer o tomar algo, y los mismos se encuentran adyacentes al Lago Di Como, por lo que se puede experimentar algo muy hermoso.

A pesar de que el lugar ofrece estas oportunidades, yo opté por caminar y conocer más de este espacio, ya que en este pueblo hay parques y circuitos de trekking para visitar.

I Giardini di Villa Melzi

Of all the options there were to do in a couple of hours, I decided to visit I Giardini di Villa Melzi, as it looked so green at its entrance that I couldn't help but be drawn to it immediately.

The entrance fee was €8 and I was quite right to visit it, as it is a place that offers a very special view of Lago di Como. Being full of tall trees, including pines, you can frame the landscape as a picture with nature itself.

This park has different levels that can be accessed by walking very quietly. It was a very beautiful experience and at this site I took the opportunity to take several pictures, as there were seats, statues and really rich perspectives for a few shots in the place.

The most striking thing for me was the contrast and at the same time the harmony that generated that vivid green with the light blue of the sea, sky and mountains, it was really a beautiful image.

I Giardini di Villa Melzi

De todas las opciones que habían para realizar en un par de horas, decidí visitar I Giardini di Villa Melzi, ya que se veía tan verde su entrada que no pude evitar sentirme atraída por él inmediatamente.

El costo de la entrada fue de €8 y acerté bastante con visitarlo, pues es un lugar que ofrece una vista muy especial del Lago di Como. Al estar repleto de árboles altos, entre ellos pinos, se puede enmarcar el paisaje como un cuadro con la misma naturaleza.

Este parque cuenta con diferentes niveles a los que se accede caminando muy tranquilamente. Fue una experiencia muy hermosa y en este sitio aproveché para sacar varias fotos, ya que habían asientos, estatuas y perspectivas realmente ricas para unas cuantas tomas en el lugar.

Lo más impactante para mi, fue el contraste y al mismo tiempo la sintonía que generaba ese verde vivo con el celeste Del Mar, cielo y montañas, era realmente una imagen preciosa.

I returned about 20 minutes before the stipulated time to meet at the meeting point and took the opportunity to contemplate the landscape a little more. At that moment I discovered swans. There were some beautiful swans swimming in Lago di Como and at that moment I saw for the first time the baby swans, some strange black beings, hehe. There I understood the famous tale known in Argentina as "The Ugly Duckling".

Aquí te dan como les comentaba, unas pocas horas para disfrutar del pueblo, ya que hay que tomar el ferry para regresar a Como y luego a Milano en mi caso. Regresé unos 20 minutos antes del horario estipulado para reunirnos en el punto de encuentro y aproveché para contemplar un poco más el paisaje. En ese momento descubrí cisnes. Había unos hermosos cisnes nadando en el Lago di Como y en ese momento vi por primera vez a los cisnes bebés, unos seres negros y extraños, jeje. Allí comprendí el famoso cuento conocido en Argentina como ”El patito feo”.
