A Halloween celebration that is totally out of the ordinary

This was my best Halloween party ever!!! Hahahah

I wasn't expecting to celebrate Halloween to be honest, and in the end it all came together with my coworkers and we went out to party on Halloween, hehe.

I know it's been a few days, but I think this is a material that should be shared, because it is extremely interesting.

Something very particular happens on this island, and that is that there is always some event out of the ordinary that allows you to get to know a totally new experience.

In this case, we did a little makeup with my coworkers and decided to go out for a drink, hoping that the island itself would tell us what to do, although we had an activity in mind, hehe.

We ended up doing what we had in mind and went to celebrate Halloween at the Pereyra Theater, one that is located in front of the port and that promised an extremely particular and fun night.

Una celebración de Halloween totalmente fuera de lo común

Este fue mi mejor festejo de Halloween!! Jajaj

No me esperaba festejar Halloween para ser sincera, y al final todo se dio para que nos juntáramos con mis compañeras de trabajo y nos fuéramos de fiesta la noche de Brujas, jeje.

Sé que ya han pasado algunos días, pero creo que este es un material que debe compartirse, pues es sumamente interesante.

Ocurre algo muy particular en esta isla y es que siempre hay algún evento fuera de lo común que te permite conocer una experiencia totalmente nueva.

En este caso, nos maquillamos un poco con mis compañeras de trabajo y decidimos salir a tomar algo, esperando que la misma isla nos dijera un poco qué hacer, aunque teníamos una actividad en mente, jeje.

Temrinamos haciendo eso que pensábamos y fue ir a celebrar Halloween al Teatro Pereyra, uno que se encuentra frente al puerto y que prometía una noche en extremo particular y divertida.

The show there was spectacular. Purple and red lights accompanied the theater, which was completely dressed up for Halloween.

People were happily dancing to fun 80's music and everyone was wearing Halloween costumes, hats or decorations.

We stayed for a while and then left because suddenly the atmosphere started to change.

El show que había en ese lugar era espectacular. Las luces violetas y rojas acompañaban al Teatro, que se había disfrazado de Halloween por completo.

La gente bailaba felizmente una música divertida de los años 80 y todos lucían disfraces, sombreros o adornos acordes a Halloween.

Nos quedamos un rato y después nos fuimos porque de pronto el ambiente empezó a cambiar.

We wanted to get to a place called the Cocotxa to dance salsa and Latin rhythms, but we had to pay admission and didn't want to spend money. Besides, there was a long line to get in.

So, we went to the bar next door, called Swing.

This place was great. The whole Dominican community was inside celebrating that Halloween night, and we went there because one of my coworkers is from the Dominican Republic but has been living in Ibiza for more than 17 years.

Queríamos llegar a un lugar llamado la Cocotxa para bailar salsa y ritmos latinos, pero teníamos que pagar entrada y no queríamos gastar dinero. Además, había una larga fila para entrar.

Por ello, fuimos al bar de al lado, llamado Swing.

Este lugar fue genial. Se encontraba dentro toda la comunidad dominicana celebrando aquella noche de Halloween, y llegamos allí porque una de mis compañeras del trabajo es de República Dominicana pero lleva más de 17 años viviendo en Ibiza.

It was a great choice! We ended up enjoying a lot of Swing, as they played bachata and other very moving rhythms. I had been wanting to dance to something like this for a long time, as I have been to other parties, but in the end it was electronic music that I really don't like.

We went with my colleagues Evelyn and Masé. Evelyn worked in the same department as me at Travel Club, and Masé was specifically dedicated to guest service making reservations for different tourist attractions.

Fue una gran elección! Terminamos disfrutando mucho de Swing, ya que pusieron bachata y otros ritmos sumamente movidos. Hacía bastante que quería bailar algo así, pues he ido a otras fiestas, pero al final ha sido música electrónica que realmente no me gusta.

Fuimos con mis compis Evelyn y Masé. Evelyn trabajó en el mismo departamento que yo de Travel Club, y Masé se dedicaba específicamente al servicio al huésped haciendo reservas para diferentes atractivos turísticos.
