Risen Christ Parish; simple and lovely design (Eng - Esp)
While I was running errands in the Brazil sector of the city I saw a church that caught my attention, I paused and after talking with the lady in charge of social ministry I took several photos of the façade, it has a simple gabled design with superimposed walls of two slopes that form a triangular slope, it is the first time I have seen this church and I found it very interesting, without wasting time I talked with the lady who was explaining a little about the church and the work they do in the community, The church has a concrete perimeter fence and bars, in the center it has a large arch-shaped door from where a walkway begins with walls on the sides and columns in a triangular ending, this hallway extends to the entrance of the church.
The door is brick red, with two leaves and vertical slat designs throughout the door area, at the top it has a white cross and on one of the front walls the figure of a crucified Christ made of iron It also has gardens with beautiful flowers, fruit trees and the famous pine trees on the left side that are very common in the town of Uverito (Monagas state). Seeing these pine trees made me remember my continuous trips in this area of the country where there are an abundance of Caribbean pines and you travel several kilometers observing only these beautiful trees on both sides of the road.
Mientras realizaba diligencias en el sector Brasil de la ciudad vi una iglesia que llamó mi atención, hice una pausa y luego de conversar con la señora encargada de la pastoral social, tomé varias fotos de la fachada de esta, tiene un sencillo diseño a dos aguas con paredes superpuestas de dos vertientes que forman una pendiente triangular, es la primera vez que veo esta iglesia y me pareció muy interesante, sin perder tiempo conversé con la señora que me estuvo explicando un poco sobre la iglesia y la labor que realizan en la comunidad, la iglesia cuenta con una cerca perimetral de concreto y rejas, en el centro tiene una puerta grande con forma de arco desde donde inicia una caminería con paredes a los lados y columnas en terminación triangular, este pasillo se extiende hasta la entrada de la iglesia.
La puerta es de color rojo ladrillo, de dos hojas y diseños de listones verticales en toda el área de la puerta, en la parte superior tiene una cruz de color blanco y en una de las paredes frontales la figura de un Cristo crucificado hecha de hierro, cuenta además con jardines de hermosas flores, árboles frutales y los famosos pinos en lado izquierdo que que son muy comunes en la población de de Uverito (estado Monagas) ver estos pinos me hizo recordar mis continuos viaje en esta zona del país, donde abundan los pinos caribe y recorres varios kilómetros observando solo estos hermosos árboles a ambos lados de la carretera.
On one side of the church is the social ministry and the rooms where the children of the community are cared for. Walking along the sides of the church I was able to see several trees in the surroundings, which add freshness to the place. My visit was approximately at eleven (11) in the morning and the heat was just like the sun's rays, walking and talking with the lady under the trees was the best option to protect us from the heat.
The side walls are lilac in color and have ventilation blocks that allow air to enter the room. In these walls there are several square-shaped brick cubicles, in which are the altars of the interior, the ceiling It is made of silver-colored acerolit and rests on iron beams.
A uno de los lados de la iglesia se ubica la pastoral social y los salones donde se atienden a los niños de la comunidad, recorriendo los lados de la iglesia pude observar varios árboles en el entorno, que agregan frescura al lugar, mi visita fue aproximadamente a las once (11) de la mañana y el calor estaba al igual que los rayos solares estaban, caminar y conversar con la señora debajo de los árboles fue la mejor opción para protegernos del calor.
Las paredes laterales son de color lila y cuentan con con bloques de ventilación que permiten la entrada de aire en el recinto, en estas paredes se ubican varios cubículos de ladrillo con forma cuadrada, en los cuales están los altares de la parte interior, el techo es de acerolit color plateado y descansa en vigas de hierro.
The interior of the church has a beautiful and charming design, the floor is made of granite, a lighter color in the center and darker on the sides, the benches are located on both sides of the aisle, they are made of wood and dark brown, in In the central part of the altar there is a sculpture of Christ that rests on a base in the shape of a three-pointed star. On the sides of it are the map of the state of Sucre and paintings alluding to the life of Jesus; The central pulpit is made of wood, it also has a smaller one in the lower part of the altar; To access the altar there are two steps made of granite like the altar in general, the color of this is similar to the floor of the central aisle; On the left side of the altar, the floor is green. Inside, you can see the large walls with ventilation blocks that, in addition to allowing air to enter, also facilitate the entry of sunlight, on the back of the wall. There are several photos about the services offered by the church, marriage talks, for the family and more, on the ceiling you can see a small grate which allows the entry of light, the beams are also shaped like semi-arches with triangular figures of tab where the LED lights are located.
It also has a room where children receive classes, which has all the materials and tools necessary for teaching children; tables, chairs, educational games, paintings, stationery, among others, it is a pleasant space with beautiful decorations, also a nice billboard where you can read the review of the Parish, which according to what is written, was inaugurated on the day October 10, 1977, fruit of the work carried out jointly by the community with the then priest Ignacio; Despite having a simple design on the outside, it is a beautiful space and very well decorated on the inside, the combination of green colors on the walls and lilac seemed pretty to me, it was a pleasure to see this church and its particular design.
El interior de la iglesia tiene un hermoso y encantador diseño, el piso es de granito, un color más claro en centro y más oscuro a los lados, los bancos se ubican a ambos lados del pasillo, son de madera y color marrón oscuro, en la parte central del altar se encuentra la escultura de Cristo que descansa en una base con forma de estrella de tres puntas, a los lados de este se ubica el mapa del estado Sucre y cuadros alusivos a la vida de Jesús; el púlpito central es de madera, cuenta además con uno más pequeño en la parte baja del altar; para acceder al altar hay dos escalones hechos de granito al igual que el altar en general, el color de este es es similar al piso del pasillo central; al lado izquierdo del altar el piso es de color verde, se pueden observar en el interior las amplias paredes con bloques de ventilación que además de permitir la entrada del aire facilita también la entrada de la luz solar, en la parte de atrás de la pared se ubican varias fotos sobre los servicios que ofrece la iglesia charlas la matrimoniales, para la familia y más, en el techo se puede ver una pequeña reja la cual permite la entrada de luz, también las vigas tienen forma de semi arcos con figuras triangulares de cabilla donde ubican las luces led.
Cuenta también con un salón donde los niños reciben clase, el cual tiene todos los materiales y herramientas necesarias para la enseñanza de los niños; mesas, sillas, juegos didácticos, pinturas, papelería, entre otros, es un espacio agradable y con hermosas decoraciones, también una linda cartelera donde se puede leer la reseña de la Parroquia, la de acuerdo a lo que está escrito, fue inaugurada el día 10 de octubre del año 1977, fruto del trabajo realizado en conjunto de la comunidad con el entonces presbítero Ignacio; a pesar de tener un diseño sencillo en el exterior, es un espacio bonito y muy bien decorado en el interior, la combinación de colores verdes en las paredes y lila me pareció linda, fue un gusto conocer esta iglesia y su particular diseño .
