Hello, hello travelers friends around the world, I wish you have an excellent and blessed day, we are already on the 12th day of March and the heat in the city where I live has intensified considerably, this time of year is characterized by high temperatures and strong breeze, to combat the heat nothing better and more refreshing than a beach bath, the city of Cumana, as I mentioned in previous opportunities, has a long coastal area where there are several beaches for fun and recreation of the family, residents and visitors, one of the most important and visited destinations is the Rock, which stands out for being a coastal sector, with beautiful views of the sea and a spectacular beach that is characterized by its shallow depth and gentle waves, which makes it perfect and ideal for children and adults, in its coastal area, you can appreciate the beautiful beach surrounded by palm trees and the mountain, On weekends it is a very visited place to bathe in its warm waters and taste the popular seafood asopados, with great demand in the area, my visit to this beach was on Sunday and I must say that there were a lot of people, children playing in the sand, bathing and boating.
My visit to the beach was at noon and accompanied by my son we started a small tour to explore parts of the beach that we did not know and looking for a shady place near the palm trees and hut to shelter from the sun, we started at the tasca restaurant NASA, this name is due to the fishing tool that was used previously known as NASA which is a kind of basket made with vegetable fibers, From that point we started the tour and we could see several arbors around with tables and chairs to play and eat, I had never been in this place on the beach and the view is very nice.
Hola, hola amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día, ya estamos en el día 12 del mes de marzo y el calor en la ciudad donde vivo se ha intensificado considerablemente, esta época del año se caracteriza por las altas temperaturas y fuerte brisa, para combatir el calor nada mejor y más refrescante que un baño de playa, la ciudad de Cumaná, como he mencionado en anteriores oportunidades, cuenta con una larga extensión costera donde se encuentran diversas playas para la diversión y esparcimiento de la familia, residentes y visitantes, uno de los destinos más importantes y visitados es el Peñón, que destaca por ser un sector costero, con hermosas vistas al mar y una espectacular playa que se caracteriza por su poca profundidad y suave oleaje, lo cual la hace perfecta e ideal para los niños y adultos, en su zona costera, se aprecia la hermosa playa rodeada de palmeras y la montaña, los fines de semana es un lugar muy visitado para bañarse en sus cálidas aguas y degustar los populares asopados de mariscos, con gran demanda en la zona, mi visita a esta playa se realizó el día domingo y debo decir que había una gran cantidad de personas, niños jugando en la arena, bañándose y paseando en bote.
Mi visita a la playa fue en horas del mediodía y compañía de mi hijo, iniciamos un pequeño recorrido para explorar partes de la playa que no conocíamos y buscando un lugar con sombra cerca de las palmeras y choza para resguardarnos del sol, iniciamos en la tasca restaurante la NASA, este nombre se debe a la herramienta de pesca que se utilizaba anteriormente conocida como NASA que es una especie de cesta hecha con fibras vegetales, muy utilizada por nuestros antepasados en la labor de pesca y también para almacenar los pescados, desde ese punto iniciamos el recorrido y pudimos observar varias enramadas alrededor con mesas y sillas para jugar y comer, nunca había estado en este lugar de la playa y la vista es muy linda.
The beautiful scenery that combines beach, mountain, palm trees and several enramadas is really charming, as well as the view of the sky and the beautiful clouds like fluffy cotton flakes, at this time although the sun was intense yes there were many people enjoying their beach bath, from this point as I mentioned, you can see part of the vegetation surrounding the beach and many enramadas that I did not see on a previous visit, There are also stone walkways to move to the different points of the beach, I was attracted by the arbors located on the edge of the beach with their respective chairs, these are for people to enjoy the asopados, food in general and rest, usually are near large trees and palms that refresh this area, the atmosphere here is very agadable and cozy, because in addition to the spectacular view, you enjoy the sea breeze.
El hermoso paisaje que combina playa, montaña, palmeras y varias enramadas es realmente encantador, así como la vista del cielo y las hermosas nubes como esponjosos copos de algodón, a esta hora a pesar de que el sol estaba intenso sí que había muchas personas disfrutando de su baño de playa, desde este punto como ya lo mencioné, se aprecia parte de la vegetación que rodea la playa y muchas enramadas que no vi en una visita anterior, hay también caminerías de piedra para desplazarte a los diferentes puntos de la playa, me llamó la atención las enramadas ubicadas en la orilla de la playa con sus respectivas sillas, estas son para que las personas puedan disfrutar de los asopados, la comida en general y descansar, generalmente quedan cerca de grandes árboles y palmeras que refrescan esta zona, el ambiente aquí es muy agadable y acogedor, pues además de la espectacular vista, disfrutas la brisa marina.
As we walked looking for a place and a hut to protect ourselves from the sun, we came across some curious handmade benches made of wood and located under a grape plant, these benches consist of a branch of quer supported by two trunks, one at each end, in total there are three benches, very striking and original for their design and excellent location on the shore of the beach, just under a tree, it is the first time I see these benches, whoever made them looked for the perfect place to observe the landscape sitting comfortably, advancing along the route there were several boats taking tours and in the background you can see the beautiful view of the mountain that creates a contrast of colors between green, white and blue.
Mientras caminábamos buscando un lugar y una choza para protegernos del sol, nos encontramos con unos curiosos bancos artesanales hechos con madera y ubicados debajo de una planta de uvero, estos bancos consisten en una rama de quer tiene como soporte dos troncos, uno a cada extremo, en total son tres bancos, muy llamativos y originales por su diseño y excelente ubicación en la orilla de la playa, justo debajo de unárbol, es la primera vez que veo estos bancos, quien los hizo buscó el lugar perfecto para observar el paisaje sentado cómodamente, avanzando en el recorrido habían varios botes haciendo paseos y al fondo se observa la hermosa vista de la montaña que crea un contraste de colores entre el verde, blanco y azul.
Finally when we got a place to protect ourselves from the sun and leave our bags, my son was getting ready to swim and we found the sad news that we had left the bag with the beach clothes at home, we were a long enough distance to go back and go for it, so this day we could not swim at the beach, we just sat in the hut watching the landscape and enjoying the fresh breeze that was there that day, then we thought of a boat ride but the places were already sold out, although we could not swim on the beach it was a relaxing ride where we met and saw areas of the beach for the first time, I also noticed that the beach is much larger than what is seen when you pass by the main road, after our frustrated beach swim, we ate ice cream and took the transport back home, with the idea of coming back soon and being able to swim.
Finalmente cuando conseguimos un lugar para protegernos del sol y dejar nuestros bolsos, mi hijo se disponía a bañarse y nos encontramos con la triste noticia de que habíamos dejado el bolso con la ropa de playa en casa, estábamos a una distancia bastante larga como para devolvernos e ir por ella, así que este día no se pudo bañar en la playa, solo nos quedamos sentados en la choza observando el paisaje y disfrutando la fresca brisa que había ese día, luego ideamos un paseo en bote pero ya los cupos estaban agotados, aunque no pudimos bañarnos en la playa fue un paseo relajante donde conocimos y vimos áreas de la playa por primera vez, también noté que la playa es mucho más grande de lo que se observa cuando pasas por la carretera principal, luego de nuestro frustrado baño de playa, comimos helados y tomamos el transporte de vuelta a casa, con la idea de volver pronto y poder bañarnos.
