Interactive roulette to learn the months in English ** Ruleta interactiva para aprender los meses en inglés (Eng - Esp)
Greetings @mundo.autismo community, I wish you are enjoying good health and have an excellent week in family unity; today is celebrated in my country one more anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo, an important historical event that contributed significantly to the independence of Venezuela from Spanish rule, in which outstanding heroes of the nation participated achieving a significant victory for the emancipation process.
The month of June is about to end and has been full of activities for the closing of the school year and final works framed in recycling and its importance to take care of the planet; this time I share the development of an interactive roulette to learn the names of the months in English.
Saludos comunidad @mundo.autismo, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan una excelente semana en unión familiar; hoy se celebra en mi país un aniversario más de la Batalla de Carabobo, importante hecho histórico que contribuyó de manera significativa a la independencia de Venezuela del dominio español, en la cual participaron destacados próceres de la nación logrando una significativa victoria para el proceso de emancipación.
El mes de junio está por terminar y ha estado lleno de actividades por el cierre del año escolar y trabajos finales enmarcados en el reciclaje y su importancia para cuidar el planeta; en esta ocasión comparto la elaboración de una ruleta interactiva para aprender los nombres de los meses en inglés.
To make it I used the following materials:
Cardboard
Colored cardboard
Ruler
Pencil
Silicone stick
Scissors
Rubber bands
Height stick
POP fabric (blue and green)
Para su elaboración usé los siguientes materiales:
Cartón
Cartulina de colores
Regla
Lápiz
Silicón en barra
Tijera
Ligas
Palillo de altura
Tela POP (azul y verde)
Elaboration
With the help of two plates of different sizes I marked and cut two circles, which will be the base and roulette, the larger one I lined with green POP, the smaller one I divided into twelve triangles and I also assembled the roulette support by cutting a cardboard rectangle, I folded it in half, cut it at the ends leaving a retangle in the center of each of the ends, lined it with blue POP, through the rectangles I made a small hole, passed the height stick and fixed the base of the roulette to the support with rubber bands.
Elaboración
Con ayuda de dos platos de diferentes tamaños marqué y corté dos círculos, que serán la base y ruleta, el más grande lo forré con POP verde, el más pequeño lo dividí en doce triángulos y también armé el soporte de la ruleta cortando un rectángulo de cartón, lo doblé a la mitad, corté en los extremos dejando un retángulo en el centro de cada uno de los extremos, forré con POP azul, por los rectángulos hice un pequeño orificio pasé el palilo de altura y fijé con ligas la base de la ruleta al soporte.
I cut twelve triangles in colored cardboard, glued them to the smallest circle and in them the names of the months, carefully made a hole in the center of the small circle and attached it to the high stick, added a green circle or plug at the end of the stick and thus the roulette is finished.
Corté doce triángulos en cartulina de colores los pegué al círculo más pequeño y en ellos los nombres de los meses, con mucho cuidado hice un orificio en el centro del círculo pequeño y lo uní al palillo de altura, agregué un círculo o tapón de color verde en la punta del palillo y así está terminada la ruleta.
How to play?
This activity can be done by two or more children. They take turns spinning the wheel and the name of the month indicated by the arrow must be read in English by the participant whose turn it is and so on until everyone participates, the winner will be the one who answers correctly the most words.
¿Cómo jugar?
Esta actividad la pueden realizar dos o más niños, giran la ruleta por turnos y el nombre del mes que señale la flecha debe ser leído en inglés por el participante a quien corresponde el turno y así sucesivamente hasta que todos participen, el ganador será el que responda correctamente la mayor cantidad de palabras.

*Reconoce y pronuncia los nombres de los meses en español e inglés
*Cultiva el hábito de la lectura
*Practica un nuevo idioma con lectura y pronunciación.
