Beautiful pot holder inspired by Byzzantine Kitty (Eng - Esp)
Greetings friends crafters and creative community, I am happy to share a new creative project inspired by Byzzantine Kitty, a character from the Splinterlands cards, although she looks very cute she is very resistant in battle; the project is a pot holder that is part of a collection that I am putting together taking as reference several animals; so far I have three (3); a rooster, hen and this cute kitty.
Saludos amigos artesanos y comunidad creativa, me siento feliz de compartir un nuevo proyecto creativo inspirado en Byzzantine Kitty, un personaje de las cartas de Splinterlands, aunque parece muy tierna es muy resistente en batalla; el proyecto se trata de un agarra ollas que forma parte de una colección que estoy armando tomando como referencia varios animales; hasta los momentos llevo tres (3); un gallo, gallina y esta linda gatita.

I marked and cut the pieces of the cat; front and back of the face, eyes, snout, ears and wings, I left the ears uncut; which I faced the right side, sewed with a straight stitch, removed the excess fabric and turned over.

Marqué y corté las piezas de la gata; delantero y trasero de la cara ojos, hocico, orejas y alas, dejé si cortar las orejas; la cuales enfrenté por el derecho, cosí con puntada recta, retiré el exceso de tela y volteé.
The next step was to sew the large wings right sides together, leave an opening at the bottom and flip.
El siguiente paso fue coser las alas grandes enfrentando los derechos, dejé una abertura en la parte inferior y volteé.
Once the wings were sewn, I glued the eyes with straight stitch, and added the muzzle, tongue and whiskers with hidden stitch.
Cosidas las alas pegué los ojos con puntada recta, además agregué el hocico, la lengua y bigotes con puntada escondida.
To assemble the pot holder, I placed the back of the face, on top of this the wadding, which I cut reducing approximately one centimeter, this way it sews better and the fabric is not too thick at the edges.
Para armar el agarra ollas, coloqué la parte posterior del rostro, encima de esta la guata, la cual corté reduciendo aproximadamente un centímetro, de esta forma se cose mejor y la tela no queda tan gruesa en los bordes.
In the front part of the face I sewed the ears and wings with a hidden stitch on the back, then I faced with the wadding and back, I sewed with zigzag stitch and golden thread to give a better finish to the character of the card that has the edges of the face in golden color, finally I added a fuchsia strip that will be the hanger.
En la parte delantera del rostro cosí con puntada escondida por el revés las orejas y alas, luego enfrenté con la guata y posterior, cosí con puntada de zigzag e hilo dorado para darle un mejor acabado al personaje de la carta que tiene los bordes del rostro de color dorado, finalmente agregué una tira fucsia que será el colgadero.
I loved this project, the cat looks beautiful and cuddly, I think I need to be very careful when using the pot holder I don't want it to stain.
Este proyecto me encantó, la gata se ve hermosa y tierna, creo que debo tener mucho cuidado al usar el agarra ollas no quiero que se manche.
