Ten toes down
I've been trying to stay fit and this has led me to play badminton more often. Back in Nigeria, I use to play at least three times a week but since we moved here, I barely get one day a week.
In recent weeks, I've been actually managed to play more times than previously and while it does work in favour of my health, I'm feeling the strain on my joints.
Since last week Tuesday, I've played badminton four times, including today. I started feeling the strain during Tuesday's as I seemed to have pulled it twisted something in my right ankle.
It hasn't affected my everyday life but whenever I attempt explosive movements, I feel a tinge of pain. In any case, I won't be playing aggressively for a while, so I'll have some resting time.
In recent weeks, my wife has taken up badminton as well, so I've been teaching her. Training is less tedious as I don't have to run around the court as much but it's still some strain.
On Saturday, I was supposed to train my wife once again but with work getting in the way, she won't be available. I might still end up playing on Saturday because a different training partner is interested in joining our session. I'll confirm with her tomorrow.
If there's no session on Saturday, I'll take the opportunity to rest my joints. I'll just sit on my arse playing videogames all day, like our ancestors wanted it to be.
Whaddup belemo. Where's here?
Here is Nottingham, UK
Where phrases end in question, yea? = } That's exciting. I'm running behind, I guess, didn't know you relocated. Congratulations.
And clothes are optional in summer. 😄
Yeah, it's been a year. I haven't been as active as I used to be.
Yeah it’s not fun getting old. Perhaps add some vitamins to your diet like magnesium and vitamin C so hopefully your joints won’t ache and recover better. Glad you’re getting in some cock though! (Shuttlecock :D)
