Chaos Legion, Soul Keep and Nightmare packs

I've focused most of my attention on Genesis league sports but I also keep one eye on activities in the SPlinterlands side of things. Well, technically speaking, GLS is still sort of Splinterlands but it is not Splinterlands, you know what I mean?

Anyway, we recently got a glimpse of the final Chaos Legion monster, and yeah, it's a cutie. Lily Shieldpaw is reminiscent of the Byzantine kitty and as expected, it was also designed by the same artist.

The new set of summoners have been coming with what I like to call exotic buffs for friendlies. Lily isn't any different, as it offers interesting buffs.

The incoming dragon summoner will give all friendlies +1 health, and camouflage ability and will triage heal a monster at the start of every round. Triage, for the uninducted, means that at the beginning of every round, one friendly monster that is NOT the tank will receive healing.

Now, considering that every monster will have the camouflage ability, this also means that only the tank will take attack in every round and this gives me an idea about how I'll use this summoner. It will come in handy in rulesets where everyone has sneak, snipe or random attack.

Possiblus the wise is currently the cheapest chaos legion summoner and it is trading at a bit over $15 and excluding the special summoners(Lux Vega and Waka), the most expensive Chaos Legion legendary summoner, Quix the devious, currently trades at $24.24. Coincidentally, that is also a dragon summoner that offers something less exotic when compared to Lily Shieldpaw.

I don't think Lily will be more expensive than Quix the devious but I reckon she will be right in the mix. If I were to guess, I'd put her around $19 per BCX because she's adorable.

Lily's ability as a summoner doesn't seem like it will be turning heads but I could be wrong. In four days time, we will know a bit more about it.

A new game

On top of the GLS project, Splinterlands has given us some information about Soulkeep. It is a game that will enable us to finally use the nightmare packs we bought for the Tower defence game.

Keep in mind that each Tower defence pack is pegged at 5000 DEC and one voucher. This is pretty much the same rate with GLG packs but there's obviously more incentive to buy GLX packs because we can also stake them to earn GLX tokens

No specific date has been dropped for the release of the Tower defence game but we know for sure that it will be in "a few months". Now that timeline is ambiguous but as a rule of thumb, I always take a few months to indicate three months.

Assuming we get the game by ending of may or maybe the beginning of June, we will be able to finally put our Nightmare packs to use. I also expect there to be a bit more interest in buying the packs as the launch of a working product will definitely spark further interest.

I'm still uncertain if I'll play the Tower defence game but I know I'll be getting a few more Nightmare packs. It could present a flipping opportunity or maybe a new way to play to earn.
