This year, for me, has been nothing less than an adventure inside Splinterlands. I have faced challenges, seen so much evolution, and had countless epic battles. Even in the middle of the bear market 🐻, where many projects start to lose their energy, Splinterlands keeps moving forward, always evolving. 💪✨
We have said goodbye to the Chaos Legion Rewards, a chapter full of memories and victories. Now, we have entered the exciting chaos of the Rebellion Rewards era, where every match brings something fresh, and the rewards feel so special. 🃏⚔️
For me, this year has been about growing, adapting, and staying determined and this journey has been both a challenge and a joy. From staking more SPS than I imagined to surviving and thriving in the Rebellion meta, there’s so much to tell.

1. Deckbuilding: Mastering the Rebellion Rewards 🃏⚔️

As a player, I’ve always been someone who invests in long-term assets, and my Splinterlands deck reflects that mindset. My current core deck is primarily Chaos Legion (CL), but with the introduction of Rebellion staples like Mantaroth and Grimbardun, I’ve managed to compete regularly in Champion tier. This consistency has allowed me to earn nearly top-tier CL Soulbound rewards, and I’m now focusing on maxing out my Rebellion rewards to solidify my deck for the future.

When Rebellion rewards were first released, I’ll admit—I was hesitant. It was challenging to identify the true staples amidst the chaos of new cards. However, as I’ve worked toward maxing these rewards, I’ve discovered true hidden gems that have transformed my gameplay. Cards like Kha'Zi, Meriput Slinger, Olivia of the Brook, and Dark Arborist have slowly become critical in my decision-making, proving their value in key matches. These cards are more than just tools—they’re becoming the foundation of my strategy.

The shift from free market rewards to Soulbound rewards wasn’t easy to embrace. Initially, it felt like a setback for immediate earnings, but I’ve come to understand its benefits for the ecosystem. This change reinforces a sense of ownership and builds a stronger foundation for the game’s future. I can confidently envision myself playing Splinterlands in 10 years, with a maxed deck and earning $1 SPS per victory—a true reward for my commitment.

For me, 2024 has been a year of reinforcing my dedication to Splinterlands and experiencing the joy of empowering my deck. Every decision I make now feels like an investment in a brighter, more strategic future. Let the Rebellion continue! 🌟✨

2. Tokenomics: The Journey to 1M SPS 📈💎

Looking back to the start of the year, I was sitting comfortably at 70K SPS staked—a solid foundation, but nothing extraordinary. Fast forward to today, and I’ve managed to nearly double that figure to 100K SPS, all without spending a single cent on additional purchases. Instead, I’ve earned 100K SPS directly in the arena! Not bad for a year of battling, huh? 💪⚔️

A massive thank-you goes to @emakulator, whose generous 1M SPS delegation has been a game-changer. This incredible support has provided the leverage I needed to grow within the ecosystem and take my performance to the next level. Your help has been pivotal, and I’ll always be grateful! 🙏✨

By renting out my SPS, I’ve gained the resources needed to rent powerful, high-value cards that I don’t yet own outright. This system has been a lifeline, allowing me to remain competitive and grow my presence in the ecosystem.

For me, 2024 has been about more than just accumulating tokens—it’s been about strategic growth and reinforcing my commitment to Splinterlands’ vibrant economy. With every battle and every earned SPS, I’m one step closer to the 1M milestone, proving that perseverance and strategy always pay off.

As a player who loves to think long-term, I’ve focused my investments on assets that grow steadily and help me stay competitive. In Splinterlands, every SPS I earn and every decision I make is part of a bigger plan to build for the future. Let me tell you about the key pieces of my strategy:

Runis: My SPS Producers

My two Epic Runis are not fighters in the arena, but they are invaluable workers on my two epic plots. They produce around 1 SPS per hour, giving me a steady flow of resources. While I’m not a massive landholder, this contribution keeps my goals moving forward. Every SPS earned is another step toward building a stronger foundation in the game.

Licenses: The Passive Income Machine

My two licenses are another critical part of my strategy. They currently generate 40 SPS and 8 vouchers daily, which I reinvest into the game. With these resources, I can rent powerful cards that I don’t yet own, helping me maintain my position in Champion tier. I know for sure that licenses will one day become the crown jewel of the Splinterlands economy, key to its decentralized model and a reliable source of income for those who hold them.

A Future Built on Strategy

For me, every investment—whether it’s a Runi or a license—is about preparing for what’s next. I don’t just play for today’s rewards; I’m building a deck and an ecosystem that will thrive for years to come. I dream of the day I hit 1M SPS staked, and I’m working toward it one battle, one SPS, and one decision at a time.

In late 2023, my second daughter, Lia, was born—a beautiful moment that also meant stepping back from blogging on Hive to focus on my family. 👶💖 As she’s grown, and with all the hype of what’s to come in Splinterlands, I’ve found the inspiration (and time!) to return to content creation. Writing about my journey and sharing insights with the Hive community has been a great way to reconnect and rekindle my excitement for the game.

Social Media: Interacting and Guess Who Fun

Social media, especially **Twitter**, has become one of my favorite places to connect with fellow Summoners. I enjoy the conversations, the strategies shared, and the passion that everyone brings to the table.

On top of that, hosting Guess Who contests has been an absolute highlight! These contests are not just fun little riddles—they’re a way to interact directly with players, share the excitement of Splinterlands lore, and give back to the community with engaging giveaways. Watching everyone try to solve the enigmas is pure joy.

Growing the Community: A Mission for Spanish Players

One of my biggest goals is to help expand the Spanish-speaking community in Splinterlands. I’ve even created a landing page and am working on more content to support this mission. Periodically, I try to engage Spanish-speaking YouTubers, reaching out to bring them aboard, but success has been elusive so far.

I know that with more effort and creativity, I can help bridge the gap and show more players in my language how amazing Splinterlands truly is. It’s a long-term goal, but one I’m passionate about pursuing.
