RE: My Way to become a Splinterlegend #Sell and go away ?

I wholeheartedly agree. I lost a lot of money in this game, from an investment standpoint - but it never was an investment. When I bought Magic The Gathering cards back in the days, I bought them to play. I didn't even have the chance to buy single cards, it was always packs and hoping for good luck. And I was in high school, so many was an issue.

Today, seeing my deck grow and become stronger every month thanks to being able to spend some 25-50$ each month on FUN is a wonderful feeling. Analyzing the cards to see where I get the biggest bang for my buck, learning strategies and tactics, connecting with other players - that's what I pay for. Not to become a millionaire, that's what other investments are for :-D This is using a tiny bit of my freetime and money to dive into a different world. I don't regret a dime I spent.

I really like your attitude!
I bought Pokemon cards back in the day and played them as a matter of course. There was never any ulterior motive to earn money with them. I just wanted to have fun.

Unfortunately, I can't just switch to this mode in Splinterlands. It's absurd, but I still try to enjoy the game first and foremost.
To open a pack every now and then and have fun with my Guild members.
And of course you shouldn't forget that Splinterlands generates contacts and other things.

Monetarily speaking, it may be a loss, but it brings a lot of experience and skills.
And that makes it a gain!
