Little Explorer Adventure in the Outskirts of the City

( EN / DE ) It was time to try out the new birthday presents of my great niece and so we went on an adventurous hike through the forest ;-) okay okay, it's a little hiking trail right on the outskirts of the city that leads to the famous Thalersee, but it never hurts to make an adventure out of everything for the kids, right?
Es war an der Zeit die neuen Geburtstagsgeschenke meiner Großnichte auszuprobieren und so machten wir uns auf eine abenteuerliche Wanderung durch den Wald ;-) okay okay, es ist ein kleiner Wanderweg direkt am Rande der Stadt, der zum berühmten Thalersee führt, aber es schadet den Kindern doch niemals ein Abenteuer aus allem zu machen, oder?

Of course we had the compass with us so to not get lost, you never know! Joking aside, I was totally happy that the little one could get excited about everything possible along the way and also discovered many great photo motifs herself.
So hatten wir selbstverständlich den Kompass mit, um uns nicht zu verirren, man weiß ja nie! Scherz beiseite, ich war total glücklich, dass sich die Kleine für alles mögliche am Wegesrand begeistern konnte und auch selbst viele tolle Fotomotive entdeckte. Was mich einmal mehr faszinierte, ich weiß nicht was die in der Schule heutzutage machen? Denn sie kannte zwar den guten alten Spruch (Niemals Ohne Seife Waschen - NOSW) aber sie hatte keine Ahnung was Himmelrichtungen eigentlich sind.

The trail, which takes briskly marching maybe 30 minutes, lasted much longer and we had a nice hour surrounded by peace and nature, which has done us good.
Der Wanderweg, der flott marschiert vielleicht 30 Minuten dauert, dauerte also viel länger und wir hatten eine schöne Stunde umgeben von Ruhe und Natur, die uns gut getan hat.

Surprise for me was an apple tree in the middle of the forest, I'm so actually not used to here, but probably part of a forestry that has long been transitioning from monoculture to deciduous and mixed forest? Well, something new, an apple in the middle of the forest, the forest animals will enjoy it!
Überraschung für mich war ein Apfelbaum mitten im Wald, das bin ich so eigentlich hier nicht gewohnt, aber wahrscheinlich ein Teil einer Forstwirtschaft die seit längerem schon von der Monokultur zum Laub und Mischwald übergeht? Nun, mal was Neues, ein Apfel mitten im Wald, die Waldtiere werden es sich schmecken lassen!

And soon we reached "civilization" again, the first bench to sit down, then the lake was in sight and the path widened. With it came the noise of people that could be heard from the nearby inn. Just after short time in the forest one notices again what a noisy species we are.
Und schon bald erreichten wir die "Zivilisation" wieder, die erste Bank um sich zu setzen, dann war auch schon der See in Sicht und der Weg wurde breiter. Damit auch schon der Menschenlärm, der von dem nahegelegenen Lokal zu hören war. Schon nach kurzer Zeit im Wald bemerkt man erst wieder was für eine laute Spezies wir sind.

Then the restaurant already came into view. It was just newly built and my report on this will soon probably be a little longer in an extra posting.
Dann kam das Lokal auch schon in Sicht. Es wurde gerade erst neu gebaut und mein Bericht dazu wird demnächst wohl in einem eigenen Posting etwas länger ausfallen.

Anyway, I enjoyed it very much and we discovered so many wonderful details. The world is full of little wonders, you just have to look and I also hope to have awakened the spirit of exploration of my great niece.
Ich habe es jedenfalls sehr genossen und wir haben so viele wundervolle Details entdeckt. Die Welt ist voller kleiner Wunder, man muss nur einfach hinsehen und ich hoffe auch, damit den Erkundungsgeist meiner Großnichte geweckt zu haben.
