Ecency Discord Posting Topic Week 33: THE UNEXPECTED

In every life there comes - sooner or later - the day when all the lucky charms and guardian angels no longer work. The day when each of us will leave this life behind and ... Yes, and then what? We don't know. But, since we came from there, it will probably be the most natural thing in the world to go back to it?

Actually, a completely different Ecency Discord Weekly Topic was planned, but when I saw Melinda's message in our chat that a very young member of our hive community died completely unexpectedly in an accident, it was no longer coherent.

So I changed in last minute and would like to focus on the topic of

"THE UNEXPECTED - THE DEATH"

I see two ways for you to approach this topic:

1 - FIRST POSSIBILITY:

• Write us what you think about death, end or beginning?
• Are such unexpected accidents coincidence or fate?
• Is there anything we can do about the time we are called to go?
• What else comes to your mind? Faith, heaven, hell as keywords
• Are you prepared? Have you made a will (no, this is not a joke)?

These are just suggestions! Anything you can think of on the broad topic "THE UNEXPECTED" is of course possible. Write a fictional story if you want or just make your own thoughts around the topic. This is no contest, it's just for bringing you to the keyboards and write!

2 - SECOND POSSIBILITY:

AND HERE I REALLY ASK YOU TO READ THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY:

I have created a community some time ago, the "HIVE Memorial Forest".
This community is meant to write an obituary for a person or an animal that you loved very much, that you were close to, that you miss, but that you unfortunately had to let go.

BUT if you choose this option and write such a post directly in the "HIVE Memorial Forest", please be mindful:

• No "Contest Style" post
• No "This is my Unexpected Entry" or similar, also and especially not in the title
• No mention that it's your post for me or the edtopic

>>> Just a great, quiet obituary for someone you personally loved

Check out the other posts in the community beforehand!
Also with the photo selection: Consider which one you use! Would the person or their relatives be comfortable with you using those photos?
If you are unsure, use a flower or other symbol photo.

The tag #edtopic is perfectly sufficient to qualify for ecency points as well.
I repeat myself, if you choose the MEMORIAL post as an option, please no mentions of contest, beeber, edtopic etc.... there is no need to.

Why I am highlighting this is because it is incredibly important to me to keep the HIVE Memorial Forest a dignified, serene place. Just as if you were entering a forest cemetery.

If you can't with that, please stick to possibility 1!
However, option 1 may NOT and should NOT be posted in the HIVE Memorial Forest community! For option 1 choose whatever seems appropriate to you, Thoughtfuldailypost for example, the Silverbloggers, Ladies of Hive or of course anytime Ecency Community.

Even though we haven't met here @erikasue I looked at your last post and it touched me deeply. I wanted to put flowers there but it didn't feel coherent since we didn't know each other personally.
