CROCHETING HAIRBAND FOR MYSELF

Warm Greetings everyone, how are y'all doing today? I hope y'all are doing great?
This is my first time posting in this great community, and I'm so happy to be here with my wonderful people of this great community, today I'm sharing with you my lovely crochet hairband, and the outcome was very beautiful and I'll love to share it with you guys 😊.

This few weeks I've been stressful for me cause joggling between work and others I've not had time to make my hair so I decided to crochet myself a nice headband to cover my overdue hair😊..

so I got to work and made a nice Headband for myself and decided to share the tutorial with you.😊

The material I used

•half ball of 100% cream white cotton wool
•A 5mm Nigerian crochet hook.
•A pair of scissors.

The steps

1st step: Starting chain

To start my head band, I first made a slip knot, and cast on 12 chain stitches.. ofcourse for a normal headband you'll need about 16 chain stitches...

1st row

Once you're done with the chain you move on to the first row.
For the first row I skip chain and then made a single crochet in the chain and every other chain.

2nd row and all other row
For the 2nd row I simply made a a single chain stitches before I turned my work in and made a single crochet in each stitches.
I used this method in the following stitches.

I continued until I got a long perfect size for my head and here I use thesame method till I got 68 rows which is perfect for my head, it also depends on your head size..

For row 69 I made a single chain, turnd my work, I decrease the crochet and make 1 single crochet (repeat it 2 times) and decrease crochet again.

Row 70 to 72 I did same thing, single chain, decrease crochet and make 1 single crochet and then decrease crochet again.

And then I finish up the strap by chaining upto 70 chains..

Finishing Up
I repeated thesame method I did from row 69 to 72 for the other side of my headband and then for the strap I I chained 70 chains too to make it equal to the other side...

And there you have my little cute headband perfect for covering my worn out overdue hair for the meantime, Using it till I can finally go to salon😊..

Thank you guys for staying till the end, i really appreciate.
By the way I hope y'all are enjoying this Christmas season, It could serve as a Christmas gift for a loved one 😊.

I hope y'all enjoy my little tutorial, if you're not clear in some of the steps please don't hesitate to ask questions, I'll be glad to answer...

Thank you so much.
See y'all soon
Blessing.
