Pleasant greetings everyone 🤗

A stroll from my office

Nothing beats going out for a walk or a stroll on a clear and sunny day. Yesterday happened to be the last working day in the year for me and it was like the sky was in support, releasing a clear and sunny bright weather. Seeing how beautiful the weather was, I decided to go out for a short walk. That was the plan but I ended up spending two more hours sightseeing and taking shots of everything thing that caught my eyes 😁. Lucky me...

I started from my office.....

Then I walked to the main road...

There was a slight traffic jam on the main road caused by the NYSC members who were leaving their PPA (primary place of assignment) for the holidays. Some military personnels were assisting with the clearance hence the slight road block


I liked the trees arrangement but I kept on walking...

I had to quickly walk past this area as it was quite busy with traders who were selling their wares with lots of customers patronizing them.

onto a new site

Here, I took a right turn and walked through an adjacent street. I heard the road was undergoing construction and I wanted to see it in action. Too bad the workers did not come to work but they left traces of their activities behind.

*I sighted some women selling roasted plantains (popularly called boli) and my mouth instantly began to water. I couldn't resist going closer to take a shot and buy one for my tummy as well 😁.


This roasted plantain goes will with roasted groundnuts and its simply a delicious snack

I bought one plantain with some roasted nuts and I quickly returned to my office to enjoy my plantain snacks. That's it for my walk. I'm so glad to be finally participating in the Wednesday walk community. Season's greetings everyone.....catch y'all later

Yes ooo, me too. Becky should enjoy her walk o but the only thing am concerned about is the plantain 😂

I see you enjoyed the walk and captured beautiful photos. That's good of the military personnel to help out with the clearance of the youth corps members.
I'd gladly enjoy the plantain with a local sauce - palm oil, ugba and utazi 😋

I think those corps members are those that just left camp yesterday.
Because a serving Corp member wouldn't like to travel wearing that uniform oo

It's always as if when I sight any roasted plantain in the street, my mind wants some especially going with groundnuts, it's always delicious 😋 Now, you can rest for a while before resuming back to work in 2025.
