Another perfect day of listing a business and onboarding new users on the Hive,

I am still working on my goal of onboarding more users on Hive and listing more businesses in Lagos state.

On Tuesday I went in search of an old hive user known as @talktofaith, I wanted to know why she had been inactive for a long time on hive, and I also wanted to introduce the spendhbd project to her, finally, we met at the university of Lagos state and we discussed at length, she was so happy and she also decided to inform her friends about the hive, we booked a date for the mentorship and spendhbd lunch.

After morning service I rushed home and got dressed for the meet-up, tho I was very hungry I had to leave because they were already waiting for me over there .

We left Aguda Surulere by 11:30 pm and got to the venue by 12:30 pm, there was much traffic due to some church program happening around the area.

Immediately I got there, they were already exhausted, so I apologized and quickly went to work.

During my presentation I explained what hive is because most of them had not heard about hive, while some know about hive but don't understand how it works, so my presentation was very long because I had to take them on a tour of the hive platform, how to subscribe to community, the kind of content that are expected on hive, and most importantly how they can get 15-40% discount of whatever they buy from a listed shop, I informed them the address of listed shops in Lagos and how they can access them.

Listing Finicky Restaurant and onboarding new users.

Since @finicky restaurant will be our meet-up point for mentorship, it was a good idea to list the business, so I quickly got consent, then a picture, and listed @finicky restaurants.
The finicky restaurant is located at 6 Jibowu Lagos state and it's a very good and large restaurant where people come to have a good time, they have a variety of Nigerian food and one of the good reputations I had about them is that their food is always fresh but unfortunately, we were disappointed ☹️ today.

Finicky restaurants also have a very big event center that can be used for weddings or any form of gathering, and people patronize them very well.

I also signed up five new users with the spendhbd sign-up link in the distriator app.

After signing up I taught them how to log in with their keys and how to keep their keys safe because of their importance.

They were very hungry so they bought food, and I showed them how to pay with HBD and claim their discounts the most surprising part was how the transaction automatically generated content.

It was a very long day and stressful as well, but the fact that am achieving my goals on spendhbd project, I am excited and will do more.
